"Have to be honest we didn’t eat here but had to share our experience of bad customer service! We recently booked a table for dinner on a tribute night, despite having a booking confirmation, a booking reminder on the day when we arrived we were told there was no table for us. We had a half an hour drive to get to the restaurant so were not very happy to be turned away. The manager was insistent that they had tried to call me to get a £10 deposit per person but despite telling him this was untrue as I have had no missed calls or messages left he was really rude and unhelpful. He kept saying that the emails are automated and nothing can be done. I find this really poor customer service as I had emails agreeing to the table and there was no way of paying deposit online so we were totally in the dark. I finished work early to make this tribute night and was really looking forward to it so left very disappointed. We certainly will not be returning and urge anyone else who has booked a table for one of these nights to ensure you confirm the table is definitely there for you before leaving home."

Food is always good, service is good too. comfortable restaurant. Not the cheap option though. But a reliable evening out.

While on a business trip in the Wokingham area with a few colleagues, we decided to try out this restaurant for dinner one evening.

I am reviewing the Sunday buffet at this restaurant. It has been years since I last dined here on a regular night, back when it had a different name. Voir le carte

I haven't visited this restaurant in over a year. It can be best described as okay, but nothing more than that. They have entertainment there every Wednesday, if I remember correctly, featuring an Elvis impersonator.

I recently dined at a buffet for lunch. The food was alright, a bit dry, but we were shocked by the high prices of the drinks when we received the bill. They charged £6.90 for a pint of shandy, which I believe is overpriced. We do not plan on returning to this restaurant. The waiter should have offered us drink menus.

I ordered Chicken Karahi and another recommended Chicken curry last night, but both dishes lacked taste and flavor. They were undercooked, and it seems like the chefs have a lot to learn. I tried calling to provide feedback but couldn't reach anyone. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone as it was a very bad experience and a waste of money. Voir le carte

I would like to rename this restaurant as ‘Geeranda Restaurant’. The meal myself and my friend endured this evening was saturated in Gee. Even the naan bread was swimming in it. This is by far the worst curry I have consumed. Covered in Gee and lacking in flavour. I’ll be going back to the Tamarind Tree (on the same street) in future. Sorry but it’s massive no from me.

I recently dined at Barbara with a group of friends for a buffet night and it was fantastic. The value was great and I loved being able to try a variety of dishes without having to order full portions. The food was delicious and perfect for anyone looking for a good meal at a reasonable price. I will definitely be returning, not just for the buffet, but to try more of their menu.
