Always a pleasure to dine in here! The service is great, the hosts are kind and one of the owner is a hunter himself. So coming here for game in fall is a must, otherwise the „Mistchratzerli“ (small chicken) is my favorite.

Fine dining in a rustic atmosphere. The Gasthof Bären is well known for outstanding food and great service. Their specialty is grilled chicken in butter sauce Mistchratzerli . Each of our dishes was delicious. Friendly and professional service.

The decor is lovely and fun. The lyrics have a nice selection for brunch, the service was rather dour. Expect to be stared at: I'm guessing only people from the area visit and from their behavior, both the employees and the other guests, they would like to keep it that way. The price is adequate, still compared to some brunches offered in the city, a bit more expensive.

Just had my lunch there. The food was ok but not top notch. Very common countryside style which you can find in many restaurants here. But unfortunately the service is subpar. It is just another SWISS ONLY place. This means, if you do not speak Swiss German, you are treated with very questionable attitude. The waitress can be quite impolite and b**chy. Avoid if you are not native Swiss. Or wait until this generation of Swiss people dies out.

Above average food but subpar service. I found the restaurant in Michelin guide but it’s really not worthy. In Aargau there are many good alternatives which offer the same style of food but with butter services. If you are not naive Swiss German speaker, don’t go! The waitress can be quit bit**y towards non natives and her attitude is very questionable. Try to avoid it the best you can. And I seriously suggest this restaurant to be removed from the Michelin guide! Voir le carte
