"It's a nice restaurant, but I question the knowhow in the kitchen. Very good quality of products, but it seams that there are no one having the skill to make it justice. We had a whole piece of beef fillet of fantastic quality, but there were no or very little seasoning. It was though cooked to perfection. The mix of vegetables were undercooked. The sauce quit blend and the fried potatoes undercooked, no seasoning and had a strange taste of not fresh oil. My starter was really good. Last minute fried duck liver with glazed melon and rhubarb chutney. Price: for what it was I have seen better for less. Maine dish 48 Sfr is quite overpriced, not for the meat quality but for the treatment of it."

"Eating only poultry, several people recommended that I try the chicken burgers at Double R, which is the benchmark for burgers in Yverdon. Quite popular, being that the place is small. You absolutely have to book! First problem, our reservation for 5 people was not recorded. (We had booked a week in advance . The waiter found a solution and moved us to a table where there were already 3 people… let’s move on… 2nd problem, the menu card and a completely torn, greasy and sticky old paper. Honestly, I hoped that the cuisine wasn't up to par... 3rd problem, I order my famous chicken burger which is so recommended and there, the pompom, the waiter tells me that they don't make chicken burgers... that it's the bar next door that does. Whereas the friends I was with came 15 days before and the chicken burger existed. anyway next… So, I ask if there is a salad and the waiter asks me if I want the burger bun with it?! Suggests I put my salad in the burger bun?! I laughed, but I laughed ; So, I told him that a small salad for 6 would go very well and I stole 2 3 fries from my friends ; The story continues with the dessert... on the menu there was a Moelleux au chocolat if I'm not mistaken and well again at the time of ordering he didn't make any, or more and offered other desserts... The only good point for me was the commercial gesture that the waiter made at the end, seeing all the hiccups since the beginning of the evening, offered us the digestive/coffee... And I recommend the little Punch, so good that we had a second one."

"The wait was endless. To be completely honest, I think I waited around 40 minutes for a kebab......... It was so long that I lost track of time. Please note, just because we make UberEats deliveries does not mean we should neglect the customers who are on site. The friendliness of the people who serve us is not the strong point of this establishment. It was even bordering on respect! The seats and tables were so dirty that I hesitated to leave the tray on the counter and go out with my kebab in my hand to eat it cold on the sidewalk! I ultimately opted to use my one and only towel to clean the seat so I wouldn't sit on any leftover food from previous customers. By the way, you have to pay for napkins... they are given so sparingly that you almost end up wiping your hands on the table! Which would also explain the state they are in... disgusting! If you are a fan of credit cards, don't carry around cash and live with the times, then this place will be a problem for you to pay the bill. Impossible to pay by card! I had to ask it twice to make sure I understood it correctly. I would like to point out that it is the end of November 2023…………. When I read customer comments, I notice that I am not the only one to have experienced a mishap in this establishment, sad! But what saddens me the most is the way in which aggrieved customers are treated through the responses to their comments! No apology or explanation, no empathy, nothing… it’s quite the opposite! Ashamed…"

"Restaurant in the middle of a commercial area which mainly offers Italian cuisine. The prices are not very high, the pizza dough is delicious, but the toppings lack a little originality... just adding fresh mushrooms instead of cans can change the flavors and as a result the pizzas are a little bland. using canned products and it's a shame because the pizzas are cooked over a wood fire which is a very good point. The same thing for the tiramisu which is homemade and advertised with amaretto… very bland! Lack of coffee and amaretto which is non-existent in the dessert. It’s a shame because the staff is friendly and the restaurant is quite well maintained. I would prefer to spend a few francs more to have tasty dishes!"

"Modern plates, very beautiful presentation. Space with pretty decor. Good wine list. We had the qoqa menu, very well cooked game meat, excellent chestnut flour spetzli! I just missed a little grain of madness, but it's very good. Correct service, friendly... but too long a wait for dessert (35min), we didn't understand why... too bad."
