Baan Thai - Menu

really impressed by everything we have experienced, beautiful atmosphere in a quirky and immersive environment combined with excellent friendly service and above all excellent eating.

actually I am there in november last year, only have the opportunity to check this. all meals here are as tasteful and taste as originally Thai food as it should be. to come back in any case.

lazy. very little Thai food mostly Chinese. the personal cannot communicate. the personal drink behind the bar and looks pretty drunk. also recently closed without explanation. not long for this place.

I went to Baan Thai for dinner. The food is authentic and scrumptious. It made me feel like having food in Thailand. They serve fresh ingredients. The service is brilliant with friendly staffs. I’d recommend this restaurant.

We where happy to note that the restaurant had reopened after a short closure so revisited. We visited over a year ago but I had to update my previous unreserved star rating. Unfortunately, under new management, the restaurant has lost it's magic. I felt...the new layout and table settings where not as nice as before and the menu had been replaced. The food was disappointingly OK it seemed to have been tamed down in flavour and spice. The staff where friendly and worked hard, but my go to Thai restaurant is alas no more.

the small Thai restaurant during the walk around the st mary’s gate. the decor, while a bit dated, was very beautiful and quite large. the menu offered various possibilities and we ordered the chicken satay, the flower dumplings, thai curry and the pad thai. the food was excellent and the dumplings really stood above all. we were also served a delightful gamut, it was served in the ground a purse dumpling with Thai sweetness sauce, which ranks high on my list of favourite dishes! service was friendly in this family-run restaurant and the value for money is also great!

eating was great and decently expensive. Although, the male server was extremely rude for us and impatient when we ordered. but with the couple next to us, where his service and voting ton became more friendly. this was done throughout the whole. our culinary experience was watching him ask if they needed anything else or if that was good, but a bad attitude was presented to us. it was clear that he was nice to the non-Asian customers next to us. I'm not sure he was discriminatory, but it was hard not to feel that way. I believe that all customers should be treated equally. good eating is useless without good service. I will not return to the restaurant.

My wife and I decided to get a takeaway on my birthday yesterday at this restaurant. I had a long day at work and I ordered food for takeaway because this used to be one of my favourite restaurants .. the man was very rude...in the phone. When I got there I noticed that he was rude towards other customers. When I told him that he got part of order wrong he starred to argue with me. He even charged me to add bit of extra chilli to one of my dishes. When I got home the Thai green curry was just water with barely any vegetables. The stir veg contained only lettuce. My pork dish which they charge extra for making it a bit spicier contained only a lot of oil, a few chillies and a few pieces of be...
