"This spot used to be my "go to" restaurant for great Italian food for dinner with friends or for family when they visited. Now, I'm sad to say that at best it is very good and at worse it's fair. When the kitchen is "on" the food is a good representation of quality Italian food. Pizza is usually a safe dish, as are the salads. There is plenty of room for large groups and there is a cheerful patio out back. I've lived in the area for going on 10 years and I still eat there hoping it will be a good night for the kitchen."

"Eigentlich eines unserer liebsten Restaurants und unser absoluter take away favorite, aber in den letzten Wochen oder Monaten gehen die Wartezeiten einfach nicht mehr. Jedes Mal mindestens 30 Minuten länger als angegeben bei Abholung. Auf das Essen zum dort essen wartet man teilweise über 2 Stunden, das ist schlicht und einfach eine Frechheit. Vier Sterne gibt's trotzdem, weil das Essen durchweg überragend ist. Ich hoffe, die Dauer ändert sich schnell wieder, denn, wenn sich an den Zeiten nichts ändern, werden wir dort leider nicht mehr bestellen. Update....es hat sich glücklicherweise sehr schnell geändert und seitdem ist wieder alles perfekt!"

"Pour ma dernière nuit à Landstuhl, je suis finalement arrivé au Cockpit Lounge attaché à l'hôtel Christine. Peut-être que la prochaine fois je séjournerai dans cet hôtel. Je voulais cette fois, mais ils étaient complets, c'est pourquoi j'y suis allé avec une ... mauvaise attitude. Je dirai que ce repas était absolument incroyable et qu'il est parmi les meilleurs de Landtuhl même s'il ne fait pas partie de mes trois premiers. Bien sûr, l'ambiance Air Force de l'endroit lui a donné des points bonus. J'ai commencé avec la meilleure soupe de goulache hongroise en Allemagne. C'était parfait et il y avait beaucoup de viande pour accompagner la soupe salée. J'ai manqué de prendre une photo de la salade, mais c'était gros. J'ai l'impression d'être au Texas avec ces salades! J'ai beaucoup apprécié les filets de saumon et de perche à la sauce au homard. C'était tellement bon. Il me reste encore quelques endroits à visiter à Landstuhl, mais je les ai presque tous frappés. De retour à Stuttgart demain"

"(If you want to a quick summed up review just skip to #3)The first time I went to Alom Dee in 2014 i was pretty impressed. The quality of service and food were pretty good compared to the appearance of the place. Naturally we thought we discovered a little gem. Not the case now a days! #1. The receptionist/waitress (who doesn't take your order mind you, you write it yourself) is one of the snottiness people I've met. Why this woman is still employed there is beyond me. I'm a pretty laid back guy, takes a fair amount to get under my skin but this young lady did it in about 15 min. Congrats, new record. If the owner had some intelligence he/she would read these reviews and send ole girl packing.#2. The food... what a waste of time and money. It took a solid 20 min to get our order in and even get drinks. The place wasn't busy. When snotty waitress picks it up she lets us know that there is no sushi tonight. Wouldn't be a big deal if you would put up a sign or maybe let some folks know when you seat them. So we adjusted our order and finally got it placed, 30 min in. When we received our food, ONE HOUR AND 15 MIN LATER the orders were incorrect and it was hot garbage. I kid you not, you can get the same quality at a Chinese fast food joint, heck it would probably be better. We choked it down and did our best to get out of there. We went so far as to separate our orders between 2 couples so this rocket scientist of a receptionist wouldn't screw it up, but she did. That was another 10 min to get "fixed". When she returned our receipts were partially done on the computer and partially inked in with pen. Super sketchy. My bill was 70€... 70€ for what looked and tasted like microwave food. I wanted out of there so bad that I just paid it and left. #3. Finally, just some words of recommendation. Don't go here. If you have self respect take a 5 min drive to Mr. Lian's. Great food and even better service. This place is hot and cramped, the food is sub par, prices are obnoxious and service is non-existent. To the owner, fire your receptionist. Seriously, read the reviews, she's losing you patrons. I gave it 24 hours to try and cool off about this visit, didn't work. Don't go here, I'd recommend going hungry before I'd recommend giving your money to this dumpster of an establishment."

"QUE PUIS-JE DIRE Commençons par aborder le parking, il n'y a que des parkings dans la rue mais il n'est pas difficile de trouver un parking dans ce quartier. Ils ont un jardin extérieur assis et assis à l'intérieur. Il y a un service de table dans tous les domaines ... de la glace, le menu est tellement mignon et bien fait. les options sont très variées et si appétissantes que j'y suis allé plusieurs fois et j'ai essayé tellement de choses. Je suis allé dans cet endroit au moins fois en une semaine!! le service est excellent et les serveurs sont super sympas. ils parlent anglais, allemand et certains d'entre eux semblent également pouvoir parler italien. CRÈME GLACÉE À LA VANILLE Je n'avais pas du tout cela seul mais je voulais souligner ici cette faveur car je suis tellement obsédée par cette saveur de glace de cet endroit. ils ont trouvé l'équilibre parfait entre la vanille et le sucré sans être aussi extrêmement sucrés. la recette de glace à la vanille qu'ils ont développée dans cet endroit n'est qu'un des goûts les plus parfaits que j'aie jamais connus. BATIDA BECHER c'est mon article préféré dans ce menu. J'adore le fait qu'il soit accompagné de vanille et de chocolat, ainsi que de l'alcool et de quelques chocolats blancs Ferrero, cela a bien fonctionné ensemble et j'ai pu tout dévorer même après un grand repas car c'était si bon. BANANA SPAGHETTI parfait parfait, la glace à la vanille comme je l'ai dit fonctionne si bien avec absolument tous les goûts de cet endroit. la banane était si bien mélangée que je m'y attendais et le plat était un bonheur absolu. SCHWARZWALD BECHER je n'étais pas du tout fan de celui-ci, la liqueur n'était pas très bonne et les cerises qui viennent sur ce désert sont très amères à mon goût mais si vous êtes quelqu'un qui apprécie une certaine amertume dans le sucré cela pourrait être pour vous, certainement pas pour moi. BLANQUE DÉSOLÉ J'AI OUBLIÉ LE NOM mais c'est une sorte de glace à la vanille avec une sauce au chocolat chaud, c'était très décevant par rapport à tous les autres éléments plus amusants de leur menu. J'ai vraiment l'intention de revenir et d'avoir le Ferrero rocher BECHER, c'est définitivement ma prochaine option et j'ai entendu dire que c'était un best-seller et un choix populaire ici. ils ne prennent pas de carte ici CAHS UNIQUEMENT ils prennent ERURO et DOLLAR mais sur le dollar qu'ils feront pour qu'ils ne feront aucune conversion, gardez simplement cela à l'esprit car il y a un guichet automatique par le DONER de New York et c'est comme un couple des portes vers le bas forment le lieu de la crème glacée. cet endroit est incroyable et je recommande vraiment"

"We ate a total of 14 people and nobody was disappointed! The ambience is very beautiful, the service is correct. And the food was really great! We had a pretty good cross-section of the current map. From various salads and soups as an appetizer over Schnitzel, Spinatknödel, Wolfsbarsch, Cordon Bleu, Rumpsteak and Lende... Everything was on the point, super juicy, very appetizing and delicious. The Rumpsteakesser agreed to have rarely eaten such a good piece of meat. Although it is a bit higher price, freshness and quality now have their price. We had a nice evening. Some ordered dessert, which could also be seen in real life. And were thrilled. Top!"

"Located on a side street, Le Marecage can be a bit hard to find. No parking on the street, a parking lot is a short walk away. Le Marecage had been recommended by several locals. The food was very good, I had the schnitzel, could...not be beat. The owner met us at the door but was reluctant to seat an English speaking party of four. He claimed he had a large party, but the restaurant was almost empty. He did finally agree to set us at the bar. During our dining experience it became clear the bartender was in fact the owner, he was also the greeter and cashier. English speaking parties were routinely turned away, German speaking parties were seated immediately. The owner spoke good English and during dinner we did develop somewhat of a rapport. The food was good, the beer was cold. If you are thinking of dinner at Le Marecage, and you should, find a German speaking front man to get you in the door. I got the feeling the owner wanted to avoid becoming a tourist spot, choosing to remain for the locals."

"Owners were stressed and unfriendly, would not go again at least until restrictions are lifted. Were told that our group ordering drinks exceeded the limit allowed at the bar. Then assigned seating in the next room, minutes later are drinks show up and...we are told that we forgot them at the bar. We were sat next to the billiards table, and had to get up every three minutes so people could take their shots. Every time we stood up we were yelled at that we had to put our mask on. Had one drink and left."

"Etwas versteckt am Ende des gleichnamigen Aufganges, beschließt die Andreasstube den Weg in den ältesten Teil der Stadt, was der kleinen Gaststätte schon einen besonderen Reiz verleiht. Der Gastraum erstreckt sich über zwei Ebenen und ist zu Stoßzeiten schon recht eng bemessen, da die Bestuhlung den unteren Raum vollständig ausnützt. Die Empore im oberen Stockwerk eignet sich recht gut für kleinere Gruppen, wobei die offene Gestaltung zum unteren Teil des Lokals einen recht hohen Geräuschpegel zuläßt. Auf das Essen mußten wir trotz halber Auslastung mehr als eine halbe Stunde warten. Die Küche ist gut bürgerlich, wobei wohl einiges an Fertigprodukten Verwendung findet. Dies kann durchaus auch in gehobenen Segmenten der Fall sein und schmälert subjektiv betrachtet nicht den Aufenthalt. Resümierend wäre zu sagen, daß ein Besuch ganz sicher lohnt, was nicht zuletzt auch an der rustikalen Einrichtung und den freundlichen Wirtsleuten liegt."

"We dined here with friends who had enjoyed it in the past. We had high expectations having viewed the menu online and seeing the reviews, but the food fell a little short of the presentation. We started with prosecco and beer, which was fine. The staff were nice, but service was slow and especially slow given the restaurant was nearly empty. We had bruschetta for the appetizer. It was fresh and average. For dinner I had the braised beef roulade, my husband had the pork, both were presented nicely, but nothing remarkable. Overall, it was good, but nothing I'd crave, and it's quite pricey to boot."

"parking is free and before location as we drove there, it looks like this is a tennis club with some children's playgrounds and the restaurant is like a center for the parents sitting and hanging while the kids play and practice some tennis. looks like a relaxed tennis club, but all mozens are welcome, even if not part of the club. they have a charming indoor seating area and a super beautiful and refreshing outdoor garden sitting corner with table service throughout the restaurant is very sweet and the staff are super friendly. they speak English, German and also seems like the perhaps speaking Italian. rules of competition - here they give a complementary bread basket but no butter like that. the brot is best to use to clean the sauce from the pasta plate, or if they are in order when eating dry brot. we did not ask for butter, so I am not really sure if this is an option, but I wish it has already come with the brot. garlic bread- the garlic bread is really good. the portion is quite small, the portion comes with only toasts not, the less it is one of the best garlic bread I ever had. gnocchi gorgonzola- what a great dish! this court is delicious, I would definitely come back here, just for a teller of this teller. the creamy and tasty taste of the Gorgonzola cheese on the sauce is everything I had dreamed. the gnocchi was cooked to perfection and the whole plate has meaning. we had to ask for Parmesan cheese, but if they have a couple of us, it was enough for the whole table of people so that I am in order. they take cards and cash, I'm not sure if they take dollar because I paid on card. I would definitely recommend this place."

"parking spaces here are street parking, it is a bit difficult to find parking spaces, but it is possible. we have taken a taxi so we did not have to worry about the parking lot in the restaurant. the personal is amazing! they are friendly and very helpful, but they are not in a hurry. during the summer sitting outside is a good idea, as there is no ac in the rule on places in Germany, but u must ask them to open the small sunshade because it looked like they were not very accurate on it. tuna and onion pizza- this pizza was ok, but it was not super remarkable I was not super impressed. they also charge for water, but it is usual in this country so ready to pay for water when they go to eat. eating was not super expensive, but it was ok, nothing super amazing. I'd try, but not the pizza they seemed to have something different."

"First time trying this place and I have to say it won't be my last. The decor is awesome they give the feeling of your teleported right to Greece. There is plenty of parking space nearby plus it's a spacious place. The staff are so friendly. It seems like. Family owned restaurant which was awesome. Seeing there passion for the food was great. The food was good. I tried there mix. The chicken was a bit dry but that's about the only complaint. It is seasoned well so definitely snag some extra sauce as this is super delicious. In my opinion I felt as if the sauce was more of a salad but it definitely was very tasty. For the review I would have to give this place like a 7.3 out of 10 on that scale. Only improvement was the food. It was a bit dry but the sauce helped greatly. For future travel and food adventures follow my Instagram @officialgetfresh"

"Parking around here is not easy, the parking situation in this area is tricky, also if you will be drinking you should not be driving here anyways so do not worry about parking. a super nice thing here is that they have free wifi!!! such...a treat! they have outside and inside sitting, a cool decadent decor with plenty dollar bills tacked to the ceiling looks pretty fun. They have some fun American style drinks like Long Island ice tea and things of that nature here too. The service is a hit or miss, one of our waitresses was very weird and somewhat rude on her way to serve us. Funny enough they provided menus for people and the waitress expected us to know what we wanted in like minutes..... HOW???? menus lady! I got a easy drink not anything signature.... for food: GARLIC BREAD- that was pretty delicious, a lot of butter an flavour! I am glad I got this appetiser and surely recommend OSCAR`S BURGER- I apologise if hat is not the correct name but it is the burger with bacon and an egg. it is perfect!!! tastes so good and it was cooked for perfection. the place is ok, I will not come back just cause of the service but the for is pretty ok to try."

"Das Restaurant hat sich als noble Adresse etabliert und bemüht sich durch das Angebot an Speisen, seinem gastlichen Ambiente als auch im Procedere, diesem Anspruch gerecht zu werden. Die Karte ist fleisch-und fischlastig und lässt einem Vegetarier kaum Spielraum.Gäste, welche dem Kult um Bacchus fröhnen, finden wohl im Küchenchef einen kundigen Berater. Parkplätze sind oft schon bei Ankunft belegt, was mit der Lage der Mühle in der engen Altstadt zu tun hat. Wenn man wenige Meter zu Fuß nicht scheut, dann passt das Fahrzeug auch in der Nähe noch in eine Lücke. Resümierend bleibt zu bemerken, daß Gäste mit Augenmerk auf "erste Adresse" einen Fixpunkt in unmittelbarer Nähe für sich entdeckt haben."

"This bar has been a staple in the nightlife scene of Landstuhl and this area in general for quite some time. Although a relatively small establishment, the experience is anything but that. The bar seems to have an endless selection of whiskey and other liquor...as well as a decent variety of beer either in bottles or on tap. The menu has definitely improved in recent months with a broader array of Irish pub classics as well as other amazing items. The service is always friendly and I’ve never waited long to be served. Most nights have an event so there’s never a dull moment. Hands down the best place to grab a drink in Landstuhl."

"We went there for dinner, but had no reservation. The outdoor eating was empty when we arrived, so we thought the reservation was more of a formality than of practical use. We were seated right away, but it too some time to get a waitress to take out order. I had a Quattro Formaggio (four-cheese) Pizza, which was okay but nothing spectacular. Both my wife and daughter has a pasta dish. Once we were done with dinner it was very dififcult to get the bill and we waited an extraordinary amount of time, even after going to the bar and telling the waitress we'd like the bill.as a caveat, other diners had arrived and were being served, so it might have been due to the limited staff and busy dinner service. I probably won't go back again. Price was on the high-side, not commensurate with the quality of food or service."

"Word to the wise - on a weekend morning, you should make a reservation. We arrived just as the rush was starting to slack off, but the two servers working in the restaurant were clearly slammed. Fortunately, they found us a table, as the place was highly recommended. The staff was very apologetic about the wait, but it wasn't really that bad, and the food quality was fantastic. Absolutely recommend having breakfast or brunch here if you're in town. Mine was just under 8 Euro and included fresh baked goods, an omelette, ham, cheese, coffee, and juice."

"I always order the Pho and Pad Thai here. Split it with a friend. Delicious. Lived in Germany for 9 months and Vietnamese food is so hard to find. So it was great that this place was only a ten minute walk from where I stayed. Not the same California prices but you can't expect that in Germany. Vietnamese food is a rarity. This is my go to whenever I'm in Landstuhl."
