Great tasting freshly cooked on site food. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the regions each dish comes from. And best of all its not expensive to eat here. Highly recommend Ashoka

We originally picked to eat here as we had the Meerkats offer, of for The food was absolutely delicious, and the waiting staff were speedy and very pleasant. The décor is smart and modern, and tables are well spaced. If we're in the area again, it'll be a return visit here.

ordered takeaway collected 20-30min and was really nice. lamm momo, chicken parody (for that). ashoka biryani was yum, we ate too much it was so good! Edit: 21jan2022, we decided to sit and it was sooo good, super service. the food is delicious super served fresh, they must. you just have to come in and dive in!

I ordered a chicken tikka masala for takeout and it tasted more like a korma with a red coloring. I was disappointed to find that previous reviews had also mentioned similar issues with the taste of their dishes. I called the restaurant and was told they would replace it, but when I arrived, I was informed that the dish was intended to taste that way. I felt like my time had been wasted. Voir le carte

we had no booking, but sat immediately, which was great. started with poppadomen that were accompanied with the usual dips, as well as a coconut aroma dip I never had and that was sweet, very nice. then for the main went for the lamb jalfrezi, beautiful and spicy, but not over the top. and one of the ashoka special dishes called colckotta huhn, which was also spicy, but the taste was incredible. I would return to this restaurant, and I want to do this very soon. will take photos next time, as I forgot this time.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate our daughter's birthday with a group of 11 people. Half of us chose the Sunday buffet and the other half ordered from the menu. The food was delicious, especially the Lamb Rogan Josh I had from the buffet - the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. We also brought a cake, which was served with candles as everyone sang 'Happy Birthday.' It was a lovely evening and we were grateful for the special treatment. The staff even gave my daughter a voucher for our next visit. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

we already have a popular Indian restaurant that we have been visiting for years and were reluctant to try something new, but we were really surprised. the restaurant inside was nicely decorated. I liked the atmosphere, menus and that the cutlery came in a small envelope. the tables and seats in the stands are very comfortable. the service was not bad, but also not exceptional. we were surprised how busy they were on a Tuesday night. the starters were delicious and the quality and portion size of the net was very good. huh was really tender and the dishes were really delicious. the only reasons why I would not give this Indian 5 starts are because one of the plates was dirty and had a bowl 2...
