We visited Artisan on Wednesday night had lovely Cocktails and food , very good , value for money midweek good , chicken Kebab and Hallumi kebab delicious , Expresso Martinis very good , blue moon Wheat beer good husband)

What a lovely friendly place. The manager greeted us at the door and found us a lovely booth suitable for 2 babies also. The food was beautiful served by 2 very friendly staff, Shannon Bailey. Nothing was too much trouble.

few drinks with friends and family. very overpriced beverages, e.g. a gin without obstinate, like a glass from which I drank at school. the renter is both aggressive and fast to name human names. avoid it if they want to disappoint.

Lovely venue, friendly staff and amazing food. All of our party really enjoyed the event. We were very well looked after during the planning process, on the evening, and the next morning when we came back for breakfast. We even got a discount

beef wellington is a hard to cook thing. I have not tried much success, but artisan have nailed it, a seriously good plate of food. it is well worth the £20 cost on its own faust, but the jalapeño balls are also first advice. starter, pornstars and dessert for £20. crikey, worth not much better than that. fillet steak. cheesy chili taucher. highly recommended.

Just done a review of The Old Chapel in Darwen but wanted to add that we came here to salvage what we could from a terrible experience. we got a fantastic friendly welcome and were served at our table with great quality drinks. Comfortable and...warm, friendly staff, we didnt eat but the food being served looked very appealing. The menu is attractive and not overky expensive. we are looking forward to visiting and having a meal soon.

if they want to call themselves “Artisan”, they need to do more than offer some overpriced aromatized gins. this grubby small bar has a disappointing selection of beers, of which three were not available at our visit, and the two who were not...delivery the bad quality was either on basement management, dirty beer lines or greasy glasses. in reality it was probably all three. the staff was horrific. conspiracy before the guests is never a good idea, but this is probably learned behavior from the administration. some people are simply not cut out for the hospitality trade.

We were recommended to go here by a stranger in the street and so glad we went. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by the manager who left his lunch to deal with us. We ordered 2 open sandwiches but...the waitress said they'd run out of mushrooms for mine this was not a problem and the manager said they would get some fresh mushrooms from the shop. I had the steak mushroom and my husband had the prawn smoked salmon they both looked absolutely delicious with plenty of filing. We shared our sandwiches and they both tasted delicious with lovely thick cut chips. The waitress was very pleasant (wish I'd got her name to put on here sorry). Would definitely go back and recommend...

Recently, on a Sunday it was a family function and the place is a sham lip. it is a bad thing to do when they run out of ice and if they are not even pieces of obstinate in drinks (like gin and tonics etc.) especially in consideration of the prices of drinks and beyond the fact that it was a bank holiday -Schoolboy stuff really. another annoying is that we had booked the place up to 4 o'clock, but the manager still allowed members of the public for drinks and even a table of people for eating, regardless of that it is a private family function.
