the lunch table is very good. 50 m away from the main shopping street with plenty of space. very good value for money

with great hunger a solid food sought - and found. eating, beer, wein were all good. and despite 2145 clock good service.

I expected more after the reviews ,staff was quick and friendly,food came very quick,meat was fresh but blend,too few greek herbs ,gyros and souvlaki ,size was ok not too much , restaurant looks nice ,but like i said the meat was too boring

We love this place. We have been here several times. whenever we are in Essen we visit here for a nice dinner. The food is very tasty and the prices are reasonable. During the evening dinner period, you may have to wait because there are usually many people. I recommend this place to everyone who likes Greek meat dishes

J'ai dîné 2 fois en 3 jours dans ce restaurant grec. Accueil parfait par un personnel compétent et sympathique. Immense carte et malgré cela des plats très copieux avec des produits de qualité (légère tendance à mettre trop de sauce sur les crudités). Courte carte de vins grecs à la bouteille ou au pichet (bons et pas chers). Conclusion : très bon endroit à Essen. J'y retournerai la fois prochaine.

the restaurant offers routined Greek Gyros cuisine. nothing special but price and performance are in a reasonable relationship. the large down side is the position. you can sit outside, but right next to the back of a large shopping center. on the road or in the opposite drive around in the evening eating proletes and show their masterpieces self-made tunings bought on loan. Unfortunately, this is also the noise.

I ate here several times whilst in Essen. Spacious Greek restaurant with outdoor seating on the pavement. Menu is available in English and the choice was excellent. The portions were also a good size, on some occasions too much for me. Complimentary Ouzo given. Inside is very nice, air conditioned and very Greek, making for a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Good WiFi signal. Overall the food and service was excellent but there was one particular waiter who was a miserable git. Highly recommend.

Those who have a very good hunger will definitely be fed up in this restaurant. Not only that you get a lot for his money it tastes very good. Operation is very friendly here (family operation). The restaurant has been in Essen for about 30 years and is definitely one of the best Greeks in the city. The only shame is that you get your food very quickly. Is probably in the restaurant the case there are many workers going to eat in the breaks there. The restaurant is close to the Limbeck shopping mall.

We were there as party of four and had no reservation, on a nice sunday noon no problem. Zaziki as starter was wonderful, probably the bread could be warmed up, but thats only an idea. Main dishes from huge salad, gyros with fries to a combo of gyros and souvlaki, all was hot and very tasty! Acompanied by a demestica makes a good lunch, topped by the Ouzu by the patron. Finally, its a gem in downtown Essen, good food, nice staff always caring , a comprehensive menu except Sunday there is also Lunch Menu. We were there from time to time, it is there for over thirty years, and we were always satisfied. Happy to be there again...
