"Expected better. Got in line somewhere around 11 am, whilst my mum waited outside. With at least 4 members of staff behind the till it shouldn't have taken almost 25 minutes. Music was very loud, witnessed someone sticking their head underneath the partition to shout as they couldn't hear the staff nor could the staff hear them. At one point one staff members actually squeezed between the two customers in front of me in the queue (not much in social distancing there he was almost on top of the two customers). He was making such a song and dance about filling up the butters and jams. Once I finally got to the till, there was no scones left after the poor fella having to fill up the condiments for it. Menu over priced the only thing that really caught my eye was the scones. And to run out before 11.30 on a busy July Friday whats the point. At least the kids had fun in the pool/Park. Would literally only return for that reason."

We recently had a lunch in the Arcadia and the food was tasty and the coffee was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be going back.

I have been to this restaurant many times and the service is always excellent. The food and coffee are amazing. I enjoy sitting and looking out at the sea every time I visit Portrush with a delicious flat white; it's a must-try.

Went here for a wedding YUP you can book the top floor. It has great views and make a great backdrop for inside pics. Easily accessible too. And (although this has nothing to do with the venue) we had amazing weather which is unusual in Ireland and especially Mar.

We got here at about 9am and we were the only ones here. I ordered the breakfast sandwich (they were out of the buns and the sourdough so I had it on white bread) and a coffee and it took a surprisingly long time to get any of our food or coffee. When we got it however it was all very good. Also this place is cash only which I didn’t see anywhere. Voir le carte

Stayed with my family in Portrush for a few nights and kept coming back here!! We tried different places and the quality of food, coffee, service not to mention the views were unbeatable!!! Staying again in August and will be heading straight here for breakfast and coffee stops on way to the beach! Staff were amazing and friendly also! Can’t fault the place!

Really disappointed in the breakfast. Ate here after spending a week in Portrush. Excellent sausage rolls, but that 's where it stops. Grumpy staff, flavourless food and everything eat in served in takeaway packaging and practically thrown at you. Despite writing everything down they forgot the tea. It 's got the best view ever, and a fantastic playground but that 's no compensation for a poor dining experience

We love this little cafe were sad to see such a poor choice on the menu . Early in the season maybe but I am sure you could provide more healthy options etc For example with your 3 choices of sausage roll ……not one of them were non meat based ! You only offered one single super food salad … so I gad to opt for a cheese toastie which came in sliced white bread and was decidedly unappetising no chutneys or anything to order it up You have a great spot here , please try to improve what you offer as it wouldn’t take much to up your game and then we will be back ! This cafe was a revelation. We both had mediterranean soup which was a very enjoyable and filling meal in itself, and the accompanying wheaten bread was equally superb. There was a really good choice of interesting healthy food and attractive cakes, and we shared one of these and it lived up to its promise. The coffee I had was also really good. Everything was very reasonably priced. We would definitely have gone back if we had been in Portrush for more than a day. The building itself is beautiful and in a fantastic location. We didn't have a sea view where we sat, but an added attraction was seeing all the guests, and ultimately the bride, arriving for a wedding in the gallery upstairs.

My wife and I called into the Arcadia this morning for coffee and scones, something we have been doing for many years. This however will be our last visit. While the coffee and scones were as great as always we were completely disgusted when a man walked in and sat down with his large dog. The dog sat up on the seat beside his owner, the same seat as used by customers. The dog was than served with two sausages set on a plate identical to that being used by customers in the cafe. In other words when you eat in this cafe you cannot be sure that a dog has not used your seat or, more concerning, the plate that your food has been served on! Perhaps this level of hygiene is acceptable to some but...

"Visited lost Found in Portstewart last Friday afternoon for some lunch. Checked the outdoor menu which stated food served until 3.30pm. Went ahead on inside. Started to briefly read the menu at the till as aware from previous visits that you order on arrival yourself at the counter. Was told by the female counter staff that we had 8 minutes to place our order and to take the menus to the table. We did this. Then when we said excuse me to the same member of staff, from our table, that we’d like to order, we were told we had to come back to the till. This made no sense whatsoever. From the moment we stepped in and were told that we had 8 minutes to order should have been the red flag I guess. Friday afternoon, not long till closing, they just didn’t want to be bothered prepping two rounds of food, The two members of staff in the premises had the worst attitude and no ounce of personality to be in the role that they are in. Every thing seemed to be a complete bother. May I also add, the food was very skimp, re portion sizes plus they seem to care more about the presentation than the food itself re the logo branded paper underneath the food. Try attempting to cut sourdough bread on this, not easy unless you want a mouthful of paper. Then when it comes to hot drinks, no sugar or milk provided. Yet again had to approach the till and ask for these to be provided with milk in a paper cup yet another couple had a glass jug of milk on their table (less dishes to wash I guess) and no white sugar at all, had to make do with brown sugar for tea. When asked for refills of hot water we were given a half full glass of this and then when asked for it to be filled up, yet again a whole botheration. Oh and don’t even get me started on the toilet facilities. Dingy to say the least. The premises in portstewart should never have reopened when it did as Lost and Found, previous owner/cafe was far more superior in all ways. Will not be back"
