appetizers (chicken wings and spareribs) were very good. burger and pommes unfortunately not. both very labbrig, pity.

Honestly, the staff was amazing. So kind and fun to talk to. The food however was lacking. It wasnt bad at all, it could just be better for the prices they charge. A bit stale nachos and average mains, however the atmosphere is what you go here for.

We went to this restaurant on a Sunday evening due to the lack of other restaurants being opened so late (most closed by 10pm and we were looking around 9pm) good service, ok food (typical US style finger food, lots and lots of fried food), and good beer. Excellent to fill a stomach if you don't have fancy needs.

A friend and I arrived in St. Gallen in the early evening and were looking for a restaurant when we passed by Stars and Stripes and decided to give it a try. I ordered a Cheese Burger with fries and onion rings. The 6 oz Cheese Burger alone was CHF 18.50 $18.77 USD). The food and service were okay. Expect to pay more for meals in Switzerland, even Cheese Burgers.

There have been a few times, I 've been to Stars and Stripes during my previous job mostly for team outings. Stars and Stripes does ok burgers, but I wouldn 't rank it among the best places to go an eat in town, and the place does seem to be less busy since Stickerei (another burger place) opened up on the same road less than 100 m away. Will I go there again as part of a group that already decided to go there yes. Is it a place I ever get a hankering for on my own or out with my wife no.

I was 3 times at stars and stripes because it was a group trip. I wouldn't decide to go there alone. eating is extremely overpriced for the quality they deliver. I ate this at three different locations: 1. an irish whisky burger. it was served lukewarm and dry, it was not very tasty just a dry, lukewarm burger. 2. reserve ribs were also served lukewarm (I hate lukewarm food, especially when it pour out) it was difficult to separate the bone from the meat, only meh, 3. loaded pommes this was the worst dish that I had, very wounded fries, tasted like old fries in a microwave warmed so that the cheese and melted warm. I would have given 1 star, but the sundae they serve is really good. Voir le carte
