"I could have been almost from house to house with the tram. the 27 is one of the longest lines of the city, from top to bottom. the weather was not perfect for our Köpenick visit with the city tour and subsequent eating. but the rain couldn't stop us round the old city island, with a view of all the sights. in the summer it would have been more fun, but then the myriad tourists would have been disturbed. köpenick can appreciate that it has its ratskeller. in so many rat houses is no longer cooked and gifted. I think of the ratskeller of the red rat house. a large arched space with some beside arches offers exactly what you imagine under a typical ratskeller. it is large, but still cozy, it is loud and quiet, but there are also separate and quieter adjacent spaces. we met in a separate "Nante-Eck". the personal is nice and flotted, loose on it and so every situation has grown. we liked the food, but the kitchen lyric of the card demanded some explanations, but they were glad and detailed. my half duck, for very fair 14,80, with red cabbage and lap, was very good. a lot, much better than expected, juicy with pink skin and exactly on the point. also the table neighbour was more than satisfied with her smoked haxe, "the leibgericht des wilhelm Voigt". the 12,80 are also calculated volkstülich, I find. pils and alcohol-free beers came quickly to the table, also liquid fruit and cocktails. if I had come with the 27 I could have had more than a glass late burgunder of franz keller, drink. I was able to finish a little dessert, Old Berlin (Silesian) "Mohnplinen" with vanilla sauce, for 4.70. I'm a poppy fan and I was all happy. they also came from the others all around, not complaining. the ratskeller is to reach the position owed, via stairs. there is a disabled toilet, so there will probably also be an option for cyclists, but I am not sure. I would like to recommend this locally in the heart of köpenick and before that encourage a visit in the »Capital Man of Köpenick exhibition«. this is located in the rooms of the former city bank of the Rathaus and is free to visit."
