Nice place, you need to add to visit this ancient city. Restaurant itself is not bad, and not expensive. Hempstead in pepper sauce was very good!

delicious, good bourgeois food and great carvings are brought to the table by very friendly service forces. there are refreshing lights from the choir. we are happy to come back!

I live not far from Düren and I am often in the town centre. This place is one of my favourites. Also when my family come to visit they also like this place. The food is of a high standard, not too expensive and the service is very good. The place is always very clean even when very busy.

when I came to thirsty, I visited every time I left another local to find out where I feel the most comfortable (from the praised pfalz). I stayed hanging in the old thirsty, as I was immediately greeted here (without grim looks of masters) and I was immediately involved in the cuddly plum. eating is super, the service very friendly and the prices normal. It's not only a restaurant, also a pub. Or if you want, the...other way around. They serve typical German dishes. Food is good, the quantities are also very good. Do not expect haute cuisine', because this is not what you are paying for. Expect to get a refreshment for euro or half a lithe Weissbeer for euro. Expect well prepared dishes for about euro (or less, or slightly more for a steak).

the old thirsty is a good bourgeois restaurant with good price-performance ratio. it is however not the largest spatially and has a large theke, so you can argue about whether it is more likely to fall into the category restaurant or pub.
