Nice entrance to Seebodenalp towards Rigi. Parking lots available. There is a charge but 50% can be credited towards drinks in the restaurant. In the evening you should reserve seats if you want to stop off, otherwise ask if anything is available. Service very nice. Thanks.

The parking fees of CHF 6 are outrageously high. In addition, CHF 3.00 will only be credited in the restaurant if the fees are paid in cash. The playground is beautifully located, with shady trees and very well maintained. The trampolines are for children aged 7-10. It's a shame that at least 1 of the 4 wasn't set up for smaller children. Alpenhof is situated above Küssnacht am Rigi. You can enjoy a most splendid view over the valley, the lake of Lucerne and the Pilatus. The Resturant has a huge garden with old trees and enjoy the shadow. Large family tables, small pavilions invite you and your family to have some nice ice cream desserts in the afternoon or enjoying the BBQ with the salad buffet. The children can play around on trampolines, chutes or visiting the stable of the farm. There is a large park however no road passing through, so you breath lovely fresh air and no traffic noise. If you plan to spend more time you can go for the rope course.

This destination is definitely worth it. Everyone gets their money 's worth here. Be it climbing, on the playground with 4 large trampolines, walking/hiking, gaining farm experience, enjoying exercise and getting rid of energy... The restaurant itself has a fine menu including desserts and a selection of drinks. A children 's portion of fries costs around 5. and is larger than a children 's portion of fries with 2 Wienerli which costs 13. . The 10 pommfrittli looked lean on the plate. You can sometimes get a snippy and unfriendly answer from the staff. Unfortunately, I 've experienced this several times...
