3rd visit to Albert's table ... although it's not cheap it's like nothing else in Croydon and a real treat.

Alberts Table is by far the best restaurant in the area. I only treat myself twice a year but experience is always exceptional from food to outstanding service.

Brought two friends for their first visit. They were bowled over by the food and service. They appreciated the lack of pressure to finish courses and the meal itself.

I wanted to go here a few times and it was not disappointed. Super service and a crisp little menu with eating well to standard in terms of presentation and taste. no delay in the recommended.

This is my third visit to Albert's Table with friends who had not previously visited, they enjoyed the food and restaurant ambience. My meal was good but not a WOW! for the main but the banana ice cream was excellent.

Regular wine dinner. Albert's Table does a wine dinner every two months. Last night's featured a range of Italian wines which we thought showed well especially a chardonnay from Sicily which had plenty of body. The food however we felt disappointed. The canapes were tasty, and the creme caramel souffle to finish was light. For the rest we thought they lacked distinctive flavours. Some nice green vegetables would have added colour to the dishes, and fresh fruit at the end would have added some sharpness to otherwise rather bland food. The chef proprietor can do much better than this.

I must say it's the second time that we met in this fantastic gem of a restaurant. I was online looking for a central location so that all my family members come together, like every family member came from another location, south east london, kent and east sussex. we all found this place very warm, friendly and welcoming and so great eating along with a brilliant service for a realistic price. I would also add that it is not one of these restaurants where it takes to read the menu either, they have a small but tastefully varied menu that corresponds to each taste buds, along with an excellent selection of quality wines.
