AHORN - Carte

Enjoy the sun at the corner to Carl-Hertz-Ufer and have an excellent Breakfast, afterwards walk over to the VanLoon Restaurant ships and enjoy lunch or another coffee. How good can life be?

Upon entering a.horn we were greeted by incredibly noise and a most chaotic waitress. The coffee was good, cake rather uninspired (we had the mandarin cheesecake). Solid but far from excellent.

A very nice place on the shore of the channel. Very nice in summer time with the tables outside on the corner, crowd but really typical in winter too. Nice place for a long stay coffe or a week end brunch Voir le carte

This is one of a hack definition of coziness! Bright space, friendly staff, international people all around (not sure if it's Ahorn or Berlin :) - and it all makes you feel like home. Very yummy brunches, great location, nice deco - bright place for bright mood.

The times I go to A.Horn I'm always taking the lemon tart which is lovely. However the service isn't so good. I ordered a coffee and the lemon tart, however after getting the coffee it took 30 minutes before the tart came. This wasn't the first time that happened

Me and my boyfriend have been eating here 3 times in 5 days: we just loved it!We had a lovely dinner at first, so we decided to come back the day after for breakfast and we couldn't avoid to start the day after without their super bowl of yogurt w/muslie and fresh fruit, a delicious croissant with jam and nutella, and a huge cup of cappuccino. All waiters are kind and quick. The place is just lovely: with big windows to see the river just in front of it. We highly recommend it! Voir le carte

Stopped in for lunch and took a table inside on a warm sunny day since outside tables were all full. Most of the people inside (less than half of the tables were occupied) were just having coffee or a beer and reading. Waited for the waitress to serve some other customers and resolve an issue with a charge, this being more than 10 minutes. We weren't in that big a hurry so not a problem. Waitress finally came to the table but then immediately andsuddenly left before taking an order for either drinks or food and didn't come back into the area for another 15 minutes so we simply got up and left. My wife went in to the WC while I waited outside and she mentioned to the manager behind the counte...

Two of the above qualities are typically not what one would be looking for when searching for a place to eat. Located on a street corner with lots of greenery around it, this cafe-cum-bistro has a huge advantage over competition without lifting a finger. Both the interior and exterior reinforces this laid-back, snug atmosphere.Unfortunately, pretty much everything else undercuts the positive first impression. Charging €13 for a simple risotto, no matter how pretentious you may make it sound, in Berlin is just a non-starter (that's already the price range of fancier restaurants). Either that, or it has to be excellent (it was OK, but nothing special). Also, the service was, well, amateurish....

Oh my gosh, it took over 40 mins for someone to come and take our order. Each time we asked if we could order, someone said they'd call someone else and the someone else never came, so we waited a long time for that. Then when we did order, the food took over an hour to get on our table. An hour long wait would be fine if the meal was an exquisite masterpiece BUT it was just some bagels, pieces of cheese and cold meats!! The wait was way too long and made the experience not pleasant. The place wasn't even full, so I don't know why it was such a problem.The A.Horn big brekky was ok at best. Truly nothing spectacular.
