Absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the warm welcome to the exceptional service and incredible food, everything was plentiful and consistently impressive.

The food was excellent, but the service wasn’t quite up to par. We waited at least 15 minutes to be served, and even then, we were only offered water. There was also a mix-up with our bill; the initial one didn’t account for the advance payment we made. The second bill was accurate, but the waiter applied the wrong amount for the payment.

We have spent many afternoons at various places across London (including The Ritz, The Langham, Claridge's, The Goring, and The Berkeley, to name a few). This is our third visit to The Lanesborough, and it is, by far, the best experience we've had. Typically, a second visit after an excellent experience doesn't quite measure up, but I can confidently say that is not the case here. We will definitely be returning for a fourth visit—of that, I am sure. The service, the menu, the venue—everything about the afternoon tea here exceeded our expectations. Voir le carte
