Absolute Abode - Menu

Cannot rate this restaurant as they cancelled booking saying they were short staffed so we're not going to ooen

I always enjoy dining at Absolute Abode. The staff is friendly, the menu is delicious, and the live music adds to the great ambiance.

Another really lovely evening at abode, with really engaging live music, not loud but so enjoyable and adding atmosphere to the lovely food and conversation. Can't wait to go again soon.

My husband and I absolutely love this place. It's got a fantastic atmosphere, lovely welcoming staff and delicious healthy food. It's great value and for all these reasons, we keep coming back!

Despite being the only ones with a reservation, we were not given the best table. I believe that customers who take the time to reserve a table should be valued and rewarded. The service was also quite slow, so this may not be the best choice if you are in a hurry.

Very poor cafe with disjointed service. Possibly would be OK during the week but it took 20mins to have order taken, one dish (full English) arrived with cold eggs and bacon but 'on fire ' potatoes. Had to chase staff to get cutlery and after had to queue for 15mins to pay. I like the concept. Staff just too overwhelmed will not be back.

This is an attractive venue, I have often met friends for tea or coffee during the day but this is the first time I have had dinner. It was a very pleasant experience, the food was good and the jazz pianist was excellent . Hardly worth mentioning but the waitress made a couple of mistakes as her English was not too good. That can only improve. I do recommend this restaurant.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, with delicious coffee as well. It is a popular spot for lunch and brunch, offering amazing dinner options. However, the live music can be a bit overwhelming. The singing is too loud and makes it difficult to hear your dining companions. Additionally, the constant clapping after each song can disrupt the enjoyment of your meal. In my opinion, this would be the perfect spot for dinner without the live entertainment.

I'm so pleased to find a good local restaurant. The service was friendly if a little hap hazard and the food was good, although not outstanding but it is the atmosphere that makes this a little gem. The restaurant consists of a small number of tables nestled inside what is in essence an interior design store. The furnishings are simple and the room gently lit creating a pleasant atmosphere that was further enhanced by a musician playing easy listening music. Although the tables are close together and were fully occupied, we were not aware of others around us. An excellent place for an intimate dinner or cosy chat with a few friends.
