A very good business meal option and very central. I had meetings in Waterloo and found it a great place to take clients

I had a very good business meal at a centrally located restaurant in Waterloo. I found it to be an excellent place to bring clients.

I was able to secure a reservation at The Ritz for afternoon tea. However, I was informed that a coat and tie were required, which I do not typically wear on vacation. Voir le carte

In summary, the service was terrible, the sandwiches were tasteless and old, and the overall experience was average at best. The only saving grace was the tea, which was good once it was refilled.

The Lodge at Fortnum and Mason had no record of our booking and said they take no bookings through your website and seemed quite cross that such a mistake had been made. They said they would be complaining to Open Table also. Luckily they had last minute space for us and we had a lovely meal with excellent service.

They mentioned that they don’t take bookings through their website and seemed quite indifferent about the mix-up. They indicated that they would be filing a complaint with OpenTable. I had booked a table but they had no record of the booking and seemed surprised when I showed them the reservation email, that you were able to book! Fortunately they were able seat us fairly quickly. Service was poor, food was good but fairly pricey as you would expect £9 for a plain hotdog served in a plastic basket was a little steep I had the Highland scramble which was delicious. Lovely setting and felt very festive.

The setting was beautiful and had a nice ambiance.
