"Overall it was a poor experience due to the low quality of the service at the table. Ordered four portions of pasta. Generally, was good. However, too salty except one, and also a bit too undercooked (too much al dente in another instance. 1. First of all, be aware this restaurant serves very abundant portions of pasta. Each portion weighs 250gr, and it is intended for two people. Nothing wrong with that, as this is the special feature of this place. Problem comes when the waiter took the orders, as he was not too clear explaining this feature, and the final order was confirmed multiple times to make it clear. Also, waiter did not spend extra time with us explaining clearly the menu features or suggesting alternatives. 2. One kind of pasta was Porcini mushrooms and Speck . We asked to add the gorgonzola cheese to make it more creamy. When the pasta was served, it was without the add of cheese. The waiter had to take it back and add the cheese. 3. During the meal, nobody asked us if everything was okay, or if we needed anything. We would have certainly said about the salty and undercooked dishes, not necessarily to take it back, but as a useful feedback to the benefit of the restaurant. 4. Since the portions are very large, and leftovers are also very common to see. As such, it is even more usual in this case to ask the clients if they want to take them home. We had to ask before the plates were taken to the kitchen. 5. After the pasta, we asked for a portion of calamari to share. The waiter very poorly explained that that meal comes with a choice of a side. Nobody wanted any sides, just the calamari. Another waiter explained that a side was mandatory, so we arranged to take it with a salad which was eaten by one of us only. 6. Cutlery was not replaced with clean ones, except for those that were removed together with the used plates. 7. Finally, we ordered a dessert. One crema catalana , one tiramisù and one sebadas . The first two comes ready to go, the sebadas needed to be cooked first. However, the first two were served immediately and the sebadas was served after several minutes, so we we couldn 't eat together. When the sebadas was finally served, we explained that all dessert should have served at the same time. The waiter justified the event saying that the sebadas needed to be cooked. We pointed out that we would have waited 5 minutes more allowing all of us to eat at the same time. At that point the waiter turned his back and walked away without saying a word. 8. The leftovers were laid on the table in three single boxes. Portions inside appeared to be smaller than what was left on our plates. However, we don 't have any proof of this. Also, we needed to ask for a bag to carry the boxes as there was no parking nearby, and we needed to walk 15 minutes to get to our vehicles. 9. Interior was very pleasant and unique, made of old bricks and stylish wood beams between arches and high ceilings. Overall, not very good experience. A suggestion for the personnel: be more passionate about the work. Cuddle the customers, asked them questions, involve them and explain them all the features of the restaurant. Create a customized experience. Don 't just serve a walk away. I 'm a firm believer that poor food and great service is always better than excellent food and bad service. Customers comes especially for the experience that you 're able to offer. If they treated well, they will come back and spread the word. In this case, we won 't come back and we don 't recommend this place. Thank you."
