"We stopped here during our visit of Villefranche-sur-Mer, and despite being next to the beach with a lovely view, the food was not particularly good. I ordered for the first time 'Salade Nicoise ' a salad that originated in the French city of Nice. It is traditionally made of tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, Niçoise olives and anchovies, and is dressed with olive oil; and my husband ordered 'Linguine Vongole ' (pasta with clams). We also ordered a beer and an 'aperol spritz '. We paid Euro 59,50 for this lunch. Expensive? Maybe a touch, but I do really hate paying money when the food is not good. The salad was ok and I would recommend it, but the pasta was missing salt, it was overcooked and the clams had no taste. It was really cooked badly. Would I suggest this place to you? Yes for a cocktail or even a dessert, but not for lunch. Value: 5/10"
