"This pizzeria, miles from anywhere, is run by an enthusiastic couple with Madam doing sterling work with the pizzas being cooked in a proper wood fired oven. Front of house is run by her husband who has a very amateur approach to his customers! In addition to the restaurant they also run a B B. Opening time of the restaurant is 7.00 pm approx! There is a very pleasant terrace under the trees which is wonderful in the summer. Unfortunately they also take phone orders from customers to collect. This leads to a chaotic situation with the restaurant customers having no idea if or when then might receive their order. They desperately need to employ more staff!!! The pizzas themselves are the ultra thin Roman type (not the thick bready type of Naples). The last time I had a pizza this good was in the best pizza places in Rome. The thin crispy base is a wonder to behold The toppings available are wide ranging and are constantly changing. There is also a choice of sauce tomato or cream. Desserts are the usual suspects (see their menu on the website) plus a couple of daily specials. Wine prices are OK but I prefer a cheaper more robust wine to complement the food. The blackboard also shows the alternative plats if you do not want pizza. I shall return to see if the staffing problem has been addressed. It is for this reason that I cannot give a higher rating."
