"We live locally, and were very excited at the prospect of a new, Italian restaurant. Sadly this place is very much style over substance, I cannot critique the atmosphere or decor but I can confirm that that is exactly what you are paying for. One family member ordered the beef, which was very chewy, one the risotto which was 42 euro (I can tell you that is steep even for a ski resort) which had 3 tiny scampi pieces and whilst the dish was well flavoured it felt poor value given it was 90% rice. The most disappointing of all was the almost inedible carbonara. Given this is an Italian they could not have got it more wrong, it was dry, barely any bacon and the pasta was overdone, we often make it at home with just egg and parmesan so know that it should not have cream, but it had seized up and dried out completely. The wonderful Italian server could not have been praised more and the wine was great but sadly I would not bother eating here again."
