"Staying in an apartment just round the corner, this was recommended to us by its owner as a great place to go for cocktails and tapas and he was not wrong. The first night we ate inside in the bar area and had tapas - these were really tasty and were big portions and we would really recommend the salt cod balls which were amazing. It was great to watch the barman make the cocktails - we had a very well-mixed mojito and the pina coladas that he made were incredible - absolutely huge! Having had a good evening, we went back the next night and ate outside at the restaurant. There was a good choice of food on the menu and there were a lot of locals eating or drinking there - it's obviously a very popular place for them to meet. The food was well-cooked and portions were plentiful. Tried the raspberry mojito and this was delicious - really full of fresh fruit. Would highly recommend this restaurant for both the food and the friendly attitude of the staff. It was very busy so either book ahead or turn up early. We'll definitely go back if we return to Nimes."
