"Relying on reviews of restaurants on Trip Advisor coupled with which restaurants had reservations available last minute on a Saturday night, we were fortunate enough to get a table here. The place is small with a welcoming ambiance and friendly staff. The kitchen area is open to the dining room and it was nice to see how well the kitchen staff worked together on a busy Saturday night. The menu was only in French but the staff was easily able to translate everything for us. I really liked that some dishes were offered in both a half and full portion. This made it easier for me to select what I wanted without having to over do it and possibly waste food. There was even a vegetarian option on the menu, which is sometimes hard to come by. The food was very good and nicely presented. I would definitely recommend giving Pastel a try."
