"In the pretty village of Vaugines "Le P'tit Resto" looks nothing out of the ordinary, but it really is different and well worth a visit. Typical of France, it is run by a couple but unusually it is her in the kitchen with him looking after "front of house"I cannot guess what you will eat when you visit as the short menu changes regularly but we enjoyed a remarkably good three course meal for 32€. The combination of flavours was original and worked a treat. Also, the food looked beautiful on the plate. I thought that the starter and the pudding were better than those we had from two other places in the area that boast Michelin stars. While I was having to think about my driving licence, I enjoyed reading the unusually extensive wine list that was being carefully explained to other diners by our host..At £32€ for dinner "Le P'tit Resto" represents exceptional value for money and t is justly popular so do book ahead."
