"A short drive from Toulouse. Free parking lot right across the street. Impressive variety of curries for the dinner buffet sausage rougail, vanilla duck, pork massalé, fish combava curry, chicken curry, egg curry, … with rice and lentils and vegetables. The starters included boudin noir, sweet potato ? gratin, quiche, pâté. Fried snacks like samoussas are available for an extra charge; we didn't try them but maybe we should have, for some textural variety. The hot dishes are all kind of similar chunks of meat stewed in dark sauce , quite tasty but not too spicy. Some spicy sauces can be added on the side. Everything is regularly replenished. We had a reasonably priced red wine, but it didn't go well with the food. Cocktails or beer would probably have been better. They offer a free shot of flavored rum at the end. We did not try any desserts. Ask for a table in the middle of the room, otherwise it is uncomfortable to get in and out. The dining room is large and colorful but the decoration could use some more effort a few postcards taped to the wall . The service was fine. Overall the Réunionnais atmosphere seemed to be lacking, but maybe this is hard to recreate in Toulouse in late November."
