"My partner and I loved our dinner, superb plating for unconventional but balanced dishes, like our starter of green asparagus, citrus fruit and ginger, or our scrumptious fish served with a morrel mousse (royale de morilles in the original!). The cheese cart pays due hommage to beautifully matured local cheeses (camembert, of course, but also the flavorful, heart shaped Neufchâtel), and dessert was the perfect ending, with more unusual combinations, avoiding the risk of being too sweet after all the great food. A rare Alsatian muscat white was a great complement to the asparagus, and worked well throughout, for a mere 25€ a bottle. We can't wait to go back, to sample more examples of Eric's creativity and to enjoy the advice of the quiet but knowledgeable waitress. (And now I realize I didn't even mention the lovely decor, with the Christian Lacroix butterflies wallpaper !)"
