"Both the hostellerie and the town were a pleasant surprise. The welcome was excellent and the hotel room in the newish outside building, everything we could have wanted. Add to that an unforgettable meal at 28euros which was very good value. All kinds of amazing tastes to back up very tasty mains. The only reason I've not given 'excellent' is that the dining room lacked atmosphere even though there were plenty eating. Perhaps the waitresses were a little too formal and silent."
