"Wir haben uns das Lumen wegen seiner schönen Lage am Marktplatz ausgesucht, leider war das ein totaler Flop, weil:- die ersten 15 Minuten kein Servicepersonal verfügbar war.- der Kellner die Bestellung nicht aufnehmen konnte weil er keinen Stift hatte (das war ja noch nett......)- wir die Auskunft erhielten dass es Speisen erst am 13:00 Uhr gibt (das war natürlich an einem Samstag falsch wie wir dann in der Speisekarte gesehen haben) - uns mehrfach falsche Getränke an den Tisch gebracht wurden (auch an den Nebentischen)- statt einem großen Mineralwasser wir ein kleines erhalten haben (keine große Sache aber in der Summe halt)- der Wildkräutersalat mit Pfifferlingen stark überaltert war (älterer Tütensalat mit stark muffeligem Geruch), die dazu bestellten Rinderfiletstreifen fast vergessen wurden (ein kleines Stück war dabei, siehe Foto). Bei der Nachbestellung wurde ich von der Servicekraft an den "Restaurantleiter verwiesen der sich natürlich erst mal nicht gekümmert hat. Der Besuch war ein totaler Vollflop, nicht nur unser Tisch wurde schlecht bedient auf der gesamten Aussenterrasse lief es denkbar schlecht. Schade eigentlich und mit den aufgerufenen Preisen in keiner Weise zu vereinbaren.Mineralwasser 0,75 für 8,50€Hefeweizen 0,50 für 4,80€Hugo für 8,50€LUMEN`s Beefburger 17,50€ich will da nicht unfair sein, aber bei den Preisen da muss die Qualität und der Service stimmen. Aber Mineralwasser für 8,50?"

"Wir dachten vor dem Besuch einer Veranstaltung essen wir noch etwas im Andechser' nicht beim Italiener oder bei Käfers. Wir haben uns auf ein rustikales Esen mit frischem Bier gefreut. Das Bier war kühl und lecker. Das Essen war unsäglich. Wir hatten Leberkäse mit Kartoffelsalat sowie Matjes mit Bratkartoffeln bestellt. Der Leberkäse lauwarm und labberig, es machte eher den Eindruck er kam aus der Micro. Keine Kruste oder Röstaromen . Derr Kartoffelsalat war aus dem Eimer. Die Bratkartoffeln gegart und sicher nicht in der Pfanne kross gebacken. Der Matjes, naja. Für einenRatskeller indem sich sicher auch Touristen verirren beschämend. Das positiv erwähnenswerte war die junge Dame im Service, nett und flink. Sie zeigte durchaus Verständnis für unse Kritik und gabe uns zu verstehen, dass wir wohl nicht die Sten waren. Alles in Allem eine gute Lage, schöne Terrasse aber bitte das Essen deutlich verbessern. Etwas mehr Liebe zum Detail wäre angebracht. Tank und Rast kann es sogar besser."

"Vor einem Besuch dringend mal beim Verbraucherfenster.hessen nachschauen. Resultate von Gesundheitskontrollen wirklich erschreckend: Verdorbenes Fleisch. Überall Schimmel auf Brettern, Schwämmen und den Lebensmitteln, abgelaufenes Hack, verdorbene Muscheln neben anderen Lebensmitteln, Schimmel in Kühlschrank, Schadnagerbefall und und und wirklich WIEDERLICH Hackfleisch, das 2021 abgelaufen war. Und die Kontrolle fand Ende 2023 statt. [hidden link] Natürlich versuchen die Betreiber jetzt diese Rezension zu entfernen... Viel Spaß dabei"

"We just wanted to let the week end with a glass of wine. And as we just stood before, we went to karim's. Beautiful terrace, but unfortunately everything reserved for Friday night. So we sat in it. In the premises I have already experienced a Chinese and later Greek restaurant. The Karim's has scored best visually. Pleasant atmosphere, beautiful ambience. Corona conditions were well implemented. Wine and also menu very well placed. Yesterday I just wanted a little appetizer to the wine. When this time decided for Moroccan potato salad, not only was excellent, but also a good portion. If you don't have a bear starving, you should take this into account and rather go straight to the main court. Because from that is abundant. Had eaten more often and no matter whether meat, fish or vegetarian dish. Everything tasted very well and was also very successful visually. Wine, tea and coffee are very good. "We wanted to go with friends before a planned cinema visit Mexican and found the Enchilada on the Internet. Website and menu were appealing and so we have a table reserved in the firm conviction to spend pleasant and a half hours with delicious food. Unfortunately, the reception was already rather lukewarm and we were left at the counter until we were brought to our reserved table a few minutes later. A person from our round had ordered an appetizer, the rest only main dishes to leave room for a dessert (Churros! <3). The appetizer was the only food that came while all the other tables were served around us. On demand (a good hour after our arrival) it turned out that we had forgotten! For reasons of time, we had to pay at the end of the arrival of our food to leave the place in a curse to avoid paying the beginning of our movie. The staff was friendly and apologised, but a little disagreement would have been desirable in view of the long waiting period. Too bad, we probably won't come back."

"Too many snobs, and people try to judge indian restaurants authencitity.I started enjoying indian cuisine, since I was a boy back in the midlands,in England, travelled and lived, with my German family in India.Even there, locals have different perspective and thoughts, on the individualdish presentation.All customers love being the better expert.I prefer the english-indian restaurants, but Tandoorian is a welcome comprimise.Management and staff, friendly and informative when asked on individual dishes.They were willing and ready to make certain twists to the dishes, not just chillitop ups. "Ich habe hier 3 - 4 x bestellt. Von die Pizza war gut bis zu es war echt nicht essbar und einfach unterirdisch. War schon alles dabei. Werde hier deswegen auch nicht mehr bestellen. Dafür gibt es in Wiesbaden einfach zu gute alternativen. Preislich ist alles in Ordnung aber wie gesagt für die Qualität darf auch nicht mehr verlangt werden. Sollte jemand von euch dort bestellen, hoffe ich das der Pizzabäcker nen guten Tag hat. Oder der richtige Pizzabäcker am Ofen steht. Wie gesagt dann ist die Pizza gut. "Bei dem Hotel handelt es sich um einige Zimmer, die sich über dem italienischen Restaurant befinden. Preis-Leistung ist hier überdurchschnittlich gut. Für ca. 90 EUR pro Nacht kann man hier als Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern in einem Zimmer mit Doppelbett und Doppelschlafcouch übernachten. In dem Preis enthalten ist hier bereits ein Frühstück.Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und in Ordnung gebracht.Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, dass sich die Zimmer direkt über dem Restaurant befinden und in dem Wohnhaus auch dauerhaft Wohnungen vermietet sind, so dass auch ein Hund auf dem Hausflur nicht ungewöhnlich ist und der Restaurantbetrieb bis ca. 22:30 Uhr live miterlebt werden kann. Allerdings ist das alles im Rahmen.Das Zimmer war hell und modern eingerichtet und das Zimmer verfügte über ein Duschbad.Über die um die Ecke gelegenen Bushaltestelle lässt sich über 3 Buslinien die Innenstadt im 5-Minuten-Takt innerhalb von ca. 10 Minuten erreichen.Super Alternative zur Jugendherberge, die pro Nacht ca. 20 EUR teurer ist und zu airbnb-Wohnungen.Das Frühstück war zwar schlank, aber vollkommen in Ordnung. Mit Brötchen, Aufschnitt, Marmelade, gek. Eiern, sämtlichen Kaffee-Getränken, Softdrinks und Müsli.Wir werden hier auf jeden Fall wieder einkehren."

"Found this newly opened Japenese restaurant in Wiesbaden one Sunday night. Unique selling point is that the buffet selection is by using a restaurant owned ipad . You click and order and within minutes your food and drink arrives at the table. The buffet is 24.95 euro per head and is good value for money. The food was good and appetising . It is basically eats as much as you can. Different style and possibly more hygienic than watching food rotate around you and other guests as usually seen in sushi style restaurants. If in town, why not give it a go ....."

Dressing war wohl gekauft und nicht mein Geschmack.Pizza war okay, aber nichts besonderes.Das schlimmste war die Mousse au Chocolat. Diese war Geschmacklich nicht gut und lag schwer in Magen.Diese war 100%ig gekauft, da sich auf der unterseite ein Schriftzug zu lesen war.Wenn es schnell gehen muss, kann man sich ein Pizza bestellen. "From beginning to end, a delightful experience. Attentive but not stuffy service, wide selection of dishes served up in a timely but unrushed manner and excellent quality of product. "We took the chance of a voucher that offered fifty percent discount on a 5 course surf and turf menu and went for it. The reviews here were very nice and having had a previous experience in a more fancy restaurant that we enjoyed, I wanted a comparison term.First must be said the staff is amazingly curteous. Sometimes even a bit too much, but won't hold it against them, may be we were just not used to it. Still all extremely friendly and nice.We had a sekt for aperitif which was very nice, even if we are no experts. The red wine we chose also was excellent, if on a very high price tag (13e for a glass).As to the food, it was very nice, all very tasty but not with the wow factor we were expecting for 200e+ price tag per couple. Definitely inferior to our meal in Goldman's in Frankfurt. A good example being the main course. The lobster was actually quite good but the meat was not particularly tasty despite perfect temperature. Maybe the exception being desert which was absolutely delicious.All in all we paid around 260e for a decent meal (not counting the discount) that we had a lot better for less. Not a bang for the buck for sure.Now the atmosphere. As someone pointed out, the atmosphere is pretentious to a point of ridicule (to my taste admitedly). Just the fact that we were talking to each other made a couple look at us with disdain. And we were basically whispering mind you. I was a bit chocked by a mid 20s couple who exchanged two, maybe three sentences in the time we were there? Maybe just not for us...Bottom line, good but not that good. And the atmosphere is just not us, but they're not to blaim I guess..."

"First the good: the location is incredible and the food, when it finally arrived (more on that later) and wasn't wrong (again, more later) was actually ok. Ish. Now the bad: The service, save for one lovely waitress, was really awful. There was no English menu, which was fine, but the staff seemed incredibly annoyed at having to help us bumble through the German menu. The service was incredibly slow. By the end, we had to go inside the bar to pay. Waiting between courses took a good 1.5 hours (really!). Then there was the food... I was travelling with someone who is incredibly allergic to dairy and gluten. We ordered a gazpacho starter, since the staff said this would be entirely dairy and gluten free. It came out with bread on top and sour cream inside.For the main, I ordered a big plate of fabulously mixed salads. My friend ordered the tuna steak with pomme frites and med vegetables. After a lifetime shivering under the unlit heater (we asked for it to be lit, the staff agreed, then disappeared), out arrives a plate of lettuce with three halved cherry tomatoes, and a single tuna steak. No fries, no fabulously mixed salads, no vegetables. At this point the evening had just deteriorated to comedically bad. Trying to find anyone to come help fix the order was impossible. There was a very strong impression that since we weren't regulars, the staff had no time for us.In the end, after a fairly awful night and slightly average food, I left quite frustrated and disappointed. Fortunately there's always hotel minibar chocolate. Maybe they were just having a bad night. And there was one really lovely waitress who just was great. But overall? I'd never go here again, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it."
