"Very disappointed. The staff's attitude was appalling. Ordered Poppadoms, no starters and mains which included Large Sizzler and noodles for the kids Without chilli! Had to chase the poppadoms after 20mins. When they eventually came we had the mains come out within a couple of minutes. The Large Sizzler lacked sizzle, meat dry, onions burnt to a crisp. The Noodles were spicy!. Spoke to the guy in the food prep area his response, in a rude dismissive manner was look at menu it say spicy asked him to call the waiter who took our order and ask him why he did not tell us. When waiter arrived he stated noodles are spicy! I then spoke to manager who stated they do noodles for kids without spice! All he could say was next time you come we'll look after you. Forget the fact I have 4 kids hungry now. Extremely disappointed. I had high hopes for this place. Nice decor, girls behind the bar were very good, nice drinks selection, unfortunately the food section has staff who's attitude stinks. And food is even worse from what I saw on the night it was not just us as all the tables around us were not finishing their food and the tables were being cleared with piles of food remaining. I have subsequently learnt that the father has left this place and the son has taken over. From my experience of The Red Lion the next generation will not take the family name to a next level. We will not be going back!!!"
