"Not having been before, we reserved a table for Friday lunchtime. No need, nobody else ate there but deliveroo were in and out all the time. The food was amazing, especially the sushi and sashimi. Offered fish not normally served in our local Japanese restaurant. Tempura was good. However, there was no heating and we froze. When we mentioned this we were told it was winter! I would love to eat here again but wouldn't book. If it was really cold I'd leave and eat at one of the many restaurants nearby. Or perhaps a takeaway."

"We decided on a whim to go and eat at this steakhouse! We happened to be in the area, were not expecting much but from the start of arrival we could tell it was fine dining experience restaurant. The servers were very friendly and attentive, what I really liked was that the seating they offered us was one that we were comfortable with. Then once we settled they presented us with the menu, which has a price range that was very agreeable for element of the style steak restaurant one would expect, for some maybe slightly on the high end but alternative main courses were there under £20 per person. We ordered two virgin Mojito’s and very kindly they advised they had the classic but also a passion fruit mix mojito, we tried both and were one of the best we’ve tried. Food once it arrived was excellent, steak was done perfectly. Overall a great experience and highly recommend this restaurant especially for the steak. Lots of parking around in the evening, during the day you would probably have to park further out."

"I have lived in Hanworth Village my entire life, and it's hard to believe that just a mile away in Lower Sunbury, there is a hidden gem called The Phoenix. The exterior of the restaurant doesn't do justice to the beautiful venue inside. The staff is excellent, the ambiance is perfect, and the garden overlooks the River Thames. Every visit to The Phoenix has been enjoyable, thanks to the exceptional food and reasonable prices. The hospitality and welcoming atmosphere make it a truly special place. If there was a 10-star rating, I would give it to this amazing pub. It is always busy, a testament to its popularity. The staff, including the chef, deserve all the compliments. The parking is easy and affordable, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, with the Sunday Roast, Tapas, and Chicken Satay being highly recommended. Families with kids will appreciate the kid-friendly environment. Overall, The Phoenix stands out for its exceptional service, attention to detail, and upholding the tradition of a great British pub. Congratulations to the entire team for their hard work. "I came for the sunday roast and i asked to be sat by the fire. I ordered my food and paid for it at 14.02 it didnt arrive until 14.50 but what ruined it is a female member of staff asked me to move tables because the table was reserved at 3pm i told her about the delay and said that i didnt want to move she told me that i either needed to move or hurry up eating my dinner!!!! Absolutely horrified!!! I did hurry and left the table before 3pm so hence walking home i threw up my meal!! I did complain to the deputy manager and pointed out the rude member of staff that spoiled my meal and she was giving me the worst look from across the bar!!!! This is disgusting behaviour from a member of staff when the delay was not my responsibility but the restaurants. You need to uplevel your staff or teach them how to treat paying customers!!!!!!! This is unacceptable behaviour."

"I booked a week before and when we were there my reservation was not even on the system. It was completely fine, though the waitress (not sure of her name) understood and got us a table while she was busy. The food can be surprisingly fast, hot and it was really good."

"great location and properties prefer by a food hygiene problem. while a main course was good, the other, a caesars salate was full of salat leaves, which obviously did not wash dirt nor stalk. service pleasant enough, but they do not tell them when they order their food that cutlery can be picked up at the door. as a result when they supply the food to their table outside, there are no cutlery with him, so they tell them to go in and get it, which rather defeats the point of the table service. would have been helpful if they had mentioned that cutlery was available at the door when food was ordered."

"Upon entering we were seated amongst tables full with family members shouting over each other so me and my partner were unable to talk much as we couldn’t hear. We were then given a menu which was only a small selection of food and no where on the website said it was going to be a set dinner. We then ordered our food which took forever to turn up and our drinks had been forgotten about. Our starters arrived after mins and they were small but nice. I ordered a steak and my partner ordered the fish, we were given a bowl of veg and potatoes to share when it stated that our meals came with potatoes and veg not to share and then they charged us I couldn’t believe it!! The food was lovely but the overall experience and price was a massive let down for New Year’s Eve."
