"I visited this restaurant twice on my last trip to walldorf (juli 2016). all critiken praise the wonderful Greek eating here and in the did I must agree that eating is good may do peculiarities to improve the experience of the customer. first, there is no air conditioning in the restaurant, which is urgently needed in hot weather. there are not even a few fans to cool off the customers at the heat. most customers speistened in free, which would have been nice, except that an evening invasion of brunettes landed throughout eating, which was very unpleasant and just too dangerous. the service was inconsistent. in the first night we were served by a young blonde girl who was very efficient and pleasant and we had a good experience with the service at the time, apart from the lack of air conditioning and the lack of fans. the next time we went, we were served by a dark-haired, faux-haired little man middle-aged and a very small boy who might be his son. we did not enjoy this experience and found the service bad. I had to leave the table three times and go to the kitchen to pick up various things we had asked for, like olive oil, seasoned oil, etc., to which was not reacted. the flying were in this night a terrible plague. the worst thing was that I didn't eat much of my delicious filetsteak as we had starter, salat and lead. I asked the young one for a little aluminium foil to take my steak. my man had planned to cycle the next day at the great price of hockenheim and I wanted to prepare him as a surprise gourmet sandwiches from the filetsteak. the young burshe took my teller away, instead of bringing me the alu film, and came back with a little meat in the film. the next morning when I opened the steak package to prepare the sandwiches, there was nothing to see about my filetsteak but two burgers!"

"I landed here (on the opposite end of the high street) when I discovered that the pfaelzer hof (the Greek restaurant) is closed on Tuesday - be warned. riviera was a typical Italian bistro with (ciemlich) authentic and friendly mature waiter. after almost 2 hours I am still not sure whether they are Italian or German! the restaurant was quite full and had a pleasant humming. since I was a single, I was placed at the end of a long table opposite the door and right in front of the bar - maybe so that they could keep me in the eye! with minestrone I kept it easy. it was freshly prepared - as my singing waiter stressed - it was hot and tasty, although I am never sure whether the basic chicken or tomato should be. this was pale, so I suppose, chicken. there were delicious, warm and pleasantly juicy and soft Italian brot (not to garlic). I chose the kalbsriviera (speciality of the house). I had a velvet, but probably rather a kalbssteak, but in two tournedos rolled with a pleasant (lightly edgy) mushroom sauce with just enough vegetables. meat was beautiful pink like calf meat. I had a glass barbera red wine and a not quite so cheap 0.7l bottle san pellegrino sprudelwasser. I dispensed with a dessert and got a small dish with a dozen of the firmest, juiciest and sweetest grapes I've ever eaten beautifully washed. with a neat drink money you eat the bill of over 50 euro for 2 courses not cheap but very pleasant."

"the positive in advance: due to the associated sports halls there are sufficient free parking in front of the restaurant. the ambiente is quite typical of a Greek restaurant, the tables were all covered with clean tablecloths, candles and small flower vases and also the service staff was friendly. The negative pettynesses: the overbaked cheese, the grilled peperoni as well as all main dishes came with the same (very tasty) sauce. this is a result of a rather lack of creativity in the kitchen, but what is much more important: this sauce simply did not fit to the grilled peperoni (which usually only come with garlic or canonnaise) and even less to the tsatziki that is also on the dish. then prefer to leave the sauce simply. my grim. Bauernsalat was great: large portion and very fresh, although not very diverse in the selection (with only one olive and two small peperonis), otherwise much greener salate, gurken, tomaten and a little cheese (but rather looked out and tasted, like cerereal cheese, so no real cheese). what almost completely insulted me the salad was the fact that the cook wanted to be here creatiw and had garnished the plate rim as well as the endivia leaves with Balsamico cream. what has gotten has sweet balsamico to look for on a Greek bauernsalat? the overcrowded gyros of my cousin was unfortunately somewhat too long in a lot and the cheese as well as partly the meat simply burned a bit. the Gyros cellar of my brother or the meat was unfortunately very fat and therefore remained to the half. the ordered garlic bread was unfitted as white bread slices, which were covered with a tomato slice and over it with turbulent cheese. ??? the service was friendly but otherwise somewhat overwhelmed with the high number of guests. no wonder, because the chef was also chef; says: he sat relaxed at the neighboring table and felt not responsible for his other guests. there you had to keep looking for the waitress and hope that she saw our thirsty wink.Stylish mineral water unfortunately there was only in 0.25 l bottles that hummed at 1.70 € then for 1.5 l to 10.20€ - this is ridiculous for a Greek restaurant. our conclusion: there is no smell of italian, who has a sauce for everything due to lack of time. really bad, because the steaks and lambs were great, the supplement salads and also the tsatziki delicious. to the end, of course, there was a summary: it was not a bad evening, but if we go Greek, then we would also like Greek cuisine and a service that just fills."
