"The food is very good here and the portions are big. But sadly it is not enough for customers to leave this restaurant happy. Staff is rude and that made the experience just not what You expect when You come into a restaurant. The main waiter (older guy) is spinning around like a bee and looks crazy stressed although has just a few tables. When we came in he immediately told us to wait outside and did not let us come in because some other ladies were waiting as well. Now I understand that they were there first, but the waiter could have said “hello, please wait a moment” or something like that. Then when we came in we didn’t really understand were to sit because he ran away again. When we got to the table he brought the menu and left. After, we ordered drinks and food. I ordered coke for myself and I saw when other waiter took already opened 0,5 l coke bottle and poured it in a glass for me. When the waiter brought pasta to my boyfriend he was sprinkling parmesan cheese not even looking at us or the plate. We joked that it’s good he didn’t sprinkled the cheese on my boyfriends head. As I said food was delicious. But when eating I was observing everything that was happening in the restaurant. Since I am a waitress myself at a fine dining restaurant and I study hospitality management it’s always interesting for me to watch how other restaurants are working. Younger waiter by the bar was drinking water. The older one was always running around like crazy, chewing gum. He even knocked up a sign when opening the door for guests. When we were eating he didn’t check if we are happy with the food or if we need something else. Both of the waiters were never smiling or being friendly and kind. But they were always yelling and talking very loudly, even louder than some tables. Also, these guys do not really know how to carry glasses or put cuttlery on the table. They do this without no trays and very loudly almost throwing things on surfaces. I don’t really understood this stressfull service because the restaurant was for sure not busy. The thing I was not happy about is not even that, but the feeling that you are not welcome and no kindness or friendliness from the staff. It’s not hard to smile or say ‘hello’ or ask if we are happy and how’s the food. I met much better waiters and waitresses in mcdonald’s or five guys. Staff and managers of this restaurant need to understand that good food is not enough to have a successfull restaurant that people would want to come back to. I am, for sure, not coming back there to eat."

"Poppies fish is very good, the rest of the meal not so good. Chips are just frozen potatoes, tartere comes in a tiny jar and when you ask for more they charge you. This was an expensive meal for what we ordered. Price's are very high for what you get. We have found wonderful fish and chips in local pubs at a reasonable price. Don't believe the YouTubers!"

"Delicious, heavily accommodating, they are more than happy to change any part of the dishes for you. The service was exceptionally friendly! The food was top tier, very very tasty. And to top it all off the prices are fair, they definitely have an advantage on that as it’s actually cheap for London, without sacrificing portion sizes which were also generous. We will be returning here."

"The vegetarian Sunday roast is absolutely delicious, probably the best I’ve ever had. Very good wine list. The staff is lovely and attentive. The atmosphere is great and the decoration is beautiful. I’d give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the deserts, their quality can be improved. Brownie came with vanilla ice cream rather than caramel ice cream (as stated), and it was cold and dry with a strong taste of flour. The honey cake was also dry. Regardless, I’d still go back as it was a great experience (maybe not the deserts next time)"

"I wanted to leave a review because this restaurant was closed last week when I tried to visit, and I really hope it reopens soon. I have been coming to this place for six years, ever since I moved to the area. I have visited with friends, my partner, and even on my own. My friends and I love this place because it is a down-to-earth, independent Italian restaurant with reasonable prices, which are hard to find these days. The food is fantastic - the pizza, pasta, crunchy Caesar salad, and house red wine are all delicious. I also love the slightly old-school decor. I once hosted a birthday party here on a Friday evening, and the service was exceptional, especially for such a large table."

"Booked to have my birthday party here (30th) with around 25 people. We had pre ordered food which arrived and was a fairly good size tasty for the price. The whole evening was however undermined by the staff's attitude. They came across as rude and obnoxious, and treated us coldly as if we were a nuisance. We weren't a group of rowdy teenagers causing trouble we were happily spending an evening there for a celebration, and giving them what must have totalled over £1K in the process. We were also cramped into a room upstairs (right next to the toilet) and were told off for standing too close to the server door when it was clear the actual problem was that they didn't have capacity to host a group of that size. The night concluded with us having to awkwardly argue with them about the bill first because the guy behind the bar seemed annoyed we wanted to split the bill, and then because their card machine took a payment from one of my friends which showed on one receipt but not on another meaning they wanted to charge him again. As the title says nice food, shame about the staff. You might have fun dancing here, but for an event you can better spend your money elsewhere they won't make you feel valued."

"The style of service here really let it down for us. The food was quite good we tried the tacos (chicken was nice, fish ok), salad with chicken (average) and guacamole (very good) and it was filling and ok for the price. But it’s a self service restaurant where you have to get your own cutlery, sauces and drinks, and place your orders online. This means you have to create an account, which takes time, and the menu if you have any dietary requirements is not easy to navigate. I asked one of the staff a question and felt like I was being a huge inconvenience to him. For this reason we wouldn’t go back. There was also a strong smell of bleach where we were sat, which put me off my food."

"We went for a small family gathering and its the first time we visited this local restaurant. First impression wasn't satisfactory as we kept waiting while the table was getting ready though we booked it for 12.15 ! However, when comes to food, we initially recommended that we will have chicken platter with rice or chips which we believed will work out bit cheaper but a guy called Jamal recommended platter for everyone and we relied on him, stupid me ! Jamal provided us Saute Combo which was £39.95, prawn saute £18.70, mutton chop £31.90, two 1.5 ltd water £9.90 and the total for 10 people was £241.10 ! he charged us by providing food was not recommended. I was disappointed as the food wasn't delicious as we expected and we end up paying more than enough money we planned by listening to Jamal. I would say i will never go back again and with much cheaper price i can get better food elsewhere. i felt like i was ripped off completely."

"Total scam. Says they’re the same restaurant as Aladdin when hustling you inside. Have terrible experience there, then claim they’re not associated with each other. So I’ll post this on both Aladdin and Cinnamon. Dishonesty trumps all. Numbers in the picture don’t add up to the total. They add up to 42.75. Call waiter over, ohh sir you so silly it says clearly at the bottom 12.5% service charge applied. No line item for it on the receipt. “It’s optional”. And 12.5%, even if it was applied as a line item, still doesn’t equal the total. Dishonesty at its finest."

"I stayed in London recently at the Leonardo Tower Bridge, which is a stone's throw away from this Wetherspoons. The aim of my stay was to attend a weekend conference at the same hotel so I wasn't aiming to venture far into London and ideally wanted somewhere nearby to have some dinner after an tiring but pleasant day. I ate here for three nights in a row as it was good food at a decent price and ensured that I was able to eat whilst it not being a priority, where I ate as long as it was tasty and reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised at this Wetherspoons. Considering it is in London, and despite being busy, there was always a table free. It's clean and has a great atmosphere. I ordered via the app to my table every day and I did not experience any delay in getting my meal. My drinks always came out quickly and my meal followed a decent amount of time afterwards. The food was always hot, well cooked and enjoyable. Just what you want when cramming in a dinner before the rest of your evening. Cheap, cheerful and relaxing I totally recommend this venue! It was a pleasure to eat here."

"I forgot how lovely atmosphere can be in a Greek restaurant. Nostalgia from holidays perhaps. I went there to celebrate my friend’s birthday. So happy to choose to go here, fast service, amazing food, really brings a piece of Greece in the heart of London, or hearts of Londoners should I say? Plenty to choose from between vegetarian dishes, meat dishes or seafood gourmands. Since we had so many options we did ordered something for everyone’s preference including for my sweet tooth . Cocktails are a must in our group."

"the first impression was a nice place, romantic and very simple. the food was also nice, but the portions were much too small. the starters looked like a snack, the pastas looked like a starter. some of the dishes very tasty, some. others quiet blande. the fact that the pasta is homemade, I expected an additional taste that they probably did not find anywhere else, but I had not felt the wow that I had expected. overall was very expensive place for what we had, especially a very small glass wein paid £8. it was not worth the price and the worth of what we paid. the waiter made average performances, was not involved as I expected. I would probably only come back if the menu and size parts change."

"Visited the restaurant on a midweek after work catch up with friends. When ordering we asked for tap water in which the waiter replied they do not provide tap water due to covid we asked why and he had no justification and that it was...just due to covid. He then went onto say they do not provide their usual on the house side salad either as again due to covid We were baffled as to why they refuse tap water as by law they cant refuse this. We carried on eating then as just a few mins before finishing the food a waiter put a sign up on the wall next to us which said card machine not working, cash only This sign was up even last year as we remember and you could tell it was a sign which was being used all the time as the paper was so old and crumpled. These people evade tax basically! As we were about to finish up we then noticed a strand of hair in the veg biryani. Completely mortified we askd for the bill and wanted to leave asap. I then showed the waiter the hair i found he was not phased at all by it and just walked off! I then insisted that we are all paying by card when the waiter pointed at the notice and said that the card machine does not work. I replied that i hav seen this notice even last yr and how its very cheeky to put it up conveniently while we were eating. I replied well due to covid, we do not handle cash so pls go get the card machine The waiter then went and spoke to management to relay the message and came back to tell me very discreetly that we can pay by card if we come to the front at the till. Do not eat at this place! Fraudsters! The food quality has gone down. Extortionate prices. Very disappointed."

"Came here after seeing a mouthwatering picture of Baggio Burgers on Instagram. The pub was quite vibrant and comfortable overall. The burgers lived up to expectation- thick, covered in cheese which was complimented by the sauces. I had the Topolino which was delicious. Girlfriend had...the vegan meatballs which she also thoroughly enjoyed, said it tasted just like meat/cheese which is what she likes. However, one slight downside was the fries. The cheapest option was £3.50 for pretty much plain fries, and then the other 2 options were £5.50 and £7 respectively for cheese/Bolognase fries etc. Due to the price we were expecting them to be amazing, but they were bland, soggy and tiny portions. I wish I’d have just doubled up on my burger and not had fries at all. That’s what I’ll do next time. Overall would definitely recommend, just stay away from the fries!"

"A very good pub for Sunday roast. Probably the best staff experience I've had in a long time. Incredibly friendly, attentive, respectful. Couldn't praise the team more. The roast was hit miss. The veg is really where this roast shines. The cauliflower cheese is some of the best we've ever had, and the buttered cabbage and carrots were divine. I felt my beef was rather tough dry, but it was made up for with a large Yorkshire lashings of gravy. The sticky toffee pudding was certainly not a disappointment, while the hazelnut pudding ice cream was ok. Reasonably priced menu, good wine selection, good staff. Would recommend, if a bit out the way."

"The manager (Mr zaza) of this restaurant has no skills with customer service, We had a lucky escape. I tried to book this place for my father 89th with 45 guests, of that 8 were under the age of 3. When he heard this he was not pleased at all. I took a look at the basement private hall which had an awful damp toilet smell, I raised this concern with the staff member. The menu I selected was £17 per head and he expected me to pay this price for the children. I suggested he charge £10 per child but he said no and kept being very aggressive and using an unprofessional tone. He then asked for a deposit of £200, I agreed to pay £100. When I took out my bank card he said no, he wants cash and again started getting very rude While this conversation is happening his staff are smirking and laughing. To anyone planning a party here, please be careful, Mr zaza is not there to give you a nice experience but its more about making money and being plain rude. Zaza management turned out to be very unreasonable and it did not seem right to give our hard earned cash to them."

"I had relatives coming down from the North who are quite partial to Chinese cuisine. How about a walk along the Thames followed by a riverside meal? They have a dog so I made a point of checking if they were dog friendly. No. However they have tables and chairs outside. Unfortunately it was a wet day when we arrived and my very diplomatic brother in law went in to see what was possible. Answer: we are not serving outside. We were a bit hungry at this point so my sister offered to stay outside with the dog and have a take away whilst the 3 of us went inside. Not a great option, but my BiL went back in to make arrangements. Response: No. You can 't sit outside and have a takeaway. You have to take it away! At this point I 'd heard enough and went in and made it clear politely but clearly that I thought this was totally unreasonable and would NEVER think of eating there again. I left the place but my friend also spoke to them very calmly to see if anything could be retrieved from the situation. She wasn 't sure what was said to her, but I suspect it wasn 't polite. We then headed off to an Indian eatery a few metres along the riverside (Mala). Not only did we not have to sit outside but our dog was very welcome to come in. In short we were made very welcome and enjoyed an excellent meal with first class service. I 'll leave it to others to comment on the food at the Chinese. Clearly customers are regarded with total contempt. There was no attempt to 'meet us half way ', as you might expect in somewhere decent. If you don 't have a dog you may think, no problem. But this isn 't some cheapo chop suey house. You are paying top dollar for their standard items. Do you really want to experience this kind of attitude to customers? I look forward to hearing that this place is under new management. It is a great location (right by the Uberboat jetty)."

"Visited here as a large party. On arrival, the salad was open to the elements, which was concerning as it is December and everyone has an awful cough! Our table wasn’t ready but we watched them get it ready. Cleaning down plates with blue paper towel. Two of us found hairs on the plate and one plate was filthy and unable to be used. The waiter couldn’t have been less interested if he tried. We asked the heating to get turned down but it appeared the radiator knob was missing so I dont believe anything was done, meaning half the table was boiling hot. I didn’t eat, but the food looked good and there didn’t appear to be any complaints other than the peshwari naan didn’t have much coconut in. It it BYOB, but no wine glasses or Prosecco glasses so you will be drinking out of normal glass. The toilets had air con in so they were lovely and cool, but the units were very dusty and the water doesn’t go down the drain the sinks, so the hand dryer blew all the soap bubbles out of the sink. Would I go back, most likely not! But people did seem to be enjoying themselves and the food."
