Service was great, location is off a side road but don't let that put you off. The quality of the meats was by far the best I had tasted all holiday. I found local meat was hard and overcooked. To my suprise in this restaurant the meat was soft, succulent, and bursting with flavour. The quality of the food reminded me of forgotten recipes from generations ago of which the last I could compare when my grandmother cooked something similar. You will not be disappointed! "Having read a previous review on Tripadvisor of a visit to Don Canapé’s on NYE, we decided to give it a go. Wow! What a fabulous evening. We were there for 5 hours from 8 pm to 1 am, bringing in the new year. The canapés and starters were SO tasty as was the whole meal, but the other patrons and staff made it a great night too. We were all given party packs to be open just before the new year came in. "I stayed next door at the Bajandillo for a week and walked past this location quite a lot on my days out. I decided to have dinner here on my final evening and was pleasantly greeted with the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Might I add that it was gluten free as well. The ambience is very charming and had me feeling as though I was sitting in a back street of Italy itself.
