"I was again on a business trip the week from Ticino to Zurich. The great Bodenhaus was on my radar for a long time, for this it was a pleasure to have enough time for lunch on this sunny winter day. The Bodenhaus is one of the most beautiful restored Hotel in Splügen, the ambiente is classic and charming.At this day instead of choosing the fine looking menu I wanted the local specialities, "Bündner Gerstensuppe" and "Capuns". This both delicious specialities from Graubünden are ideal for lunch. I know this both meals and I had expectations for having a good taste.Maybe this day was not good for the cook and for the choosen meals, unfortunatelly the "Gerstensuppe" has had extreme amount of salt - for this I returned it to the kitchen. Even the "Capuns" was with too much salt - or maybe I was saturated already from the soup saltlake....The personal was nice and careful. Out of the overdosis of salt everything was fine, maybe next time the kitchen can demonstrate it's professionality.But on this day it was bellow expectations."
