"already in november I was with friends in the so praised rentschlers. at the time we had to wait for the food and the staff was unfriendly. by an open door it pulled and it was cold, however we also got on demand no other table and the door was not properly closed and went up again and again.Even though everyone deserves a second chance and to speyer it simply belongs to "below at the Rhine".Also I met with a friend again in the pensioner's drink.A mistake! After we had 20 minutes completely ignored we were not trained. Our food was acceptable but not intoxicating - more like it could be served in any summer excursion place in whole Germany. No reason to go there again so.That locally began to fill after eating, actually we wanted to drink something - but there came an operation and asked if we could not sit on another (smallerly asked) instead of having to sit on another (smaller asked) The service came again - but without calculation and wanted to know if we didn't want to order anything yet, but it wasn't as many new customers as we thought. That's what we would have been good enough for as guests again - even in the four-story.I was quietly repeating that I wanted to calculate as soon as possible but we had to wait for 15 minutes again. I would have preferred to have just gone!Whoever goes around with guests doesn't need to wonder if they don't come anymore. If someone asks me whether we go to the rentschlers, I will categorically reject this.Outside hui and inside pfui!Speyer has such a high density of good restaurants, bars and caffes that the rentschlers should not rest on its good location. I can only recommend to anyone to visit something else. who wants to be at the rhein can also sit in the beach. It can also be eaten in the flaming star with good music and nice service."

"Where the sun has a sun lounger in the vineyard, the moon likes to be reflected in the red wine and the clouds like to move very quickly behind the mountains, you forget the time. This region is different. If you leave the highway at Grünstadt or Neustadt to immerse yourself in the magnificent vineyards, the worries of the garden gate of the Palatinate remain after just a few kilometres and the clock quickly finds an unknown rest, as if the clock pulled the handbrake. A sunny region without haste and with a lot of pleasure. Wide vineyards, high forests, tranquil villages that still give themselves a lot of love pleasure to shine in tender romance. The Palatinate is the land that always brings us a cordiality that often comes to us from hectic city people. This is not a fashion term. No: The Palatinate is homely and so gladly left. And in the middle of it, Tommy Walter meets me completely relaxed in the Henninger. In this case, chefs are loud, shrill and highly self-contained a widespread opinion that puts creativity and sensitive cuisine in deep drawers. Tommy Walter is more part of the category “leise, let but expressive” with a touch of honest ground adhesion. His diverse training trails through the best “cooked pots” in Dresden and Austria express themselves in his refined exciting creations, which, depending on the season and regional subtleties of the finest cuisine paired with original recipes from the legendary wine house Wirtin Luise Henninger, present themselves on the dishes of the venerable hostage. He feels so good here. Finally, the house Henninger in Kallstadt has been one of the traditional locals on the wine road for many decades. A few years ago, the house was refreshed as inconspicuous, new and charming and enriched with a modern and stylish new building. The historic restaurant in chic charming design without hiding the old tradition is as exemplary as unobtrusively refreshed. Open foliage, a large fireplace and also the magnificent tile stove gives a pleasant feeling. Here the guest is welcome and nothing disturbs harmony. For 5 years, Tommy Walter has shown in the Weinhaus that he is not a great artist but a creative chef of passion and certainly of vocation. Ground and open to the world, that is best if possible regional products, open to new kitchen developments, but solid in tradition. Walter works hand in hand with top regional producers and traditionally integrates regional recipes into a modern kitchen culture. The “Carpaccio vom Rinderfilet mit Schalottenvinaigrette und Potato Trüffelsalat” envelops the palate with a subtle journey through an authentic aroma world: The strong appeal of the Carpaccio is charmingly captured by the mildly fine taste of the shallots. Clear aromas without a buckling taste. The main course: Kotelett vom Odinstaler Rind. Perfectly prepared to the point, the meat of excellent quality is literally tasty on the tongue. Regional and fresh vegetables with thyme and a polenta cuts harmonize perfectly. The knowledge remains: “Who eats meat should always be aware that it is taking a valuable animal food.” At the end, a diva enters the delicious stage “Heidelbeer Cheese Cake, slightly fried with raspberry sorbet and a track of balsamico. Joy makes the view of the wine map. Reading drops of excellent wineries in the Palatinate region, of course the best wineries have to offer, legendary vineyards in Germany and special features of Bordeaux. All wines are kindly calculated. The service in the restaurant as well as in the hotel acts smart and professional, almost in the same charmingly perfect way as the crew celebrates at the stove. They are all authentic and somewhat charmingly indisciplined in the public but ultimately convincing in their incomparable way and their extraordinary craftsmanship. And whoever lets Tommy do it... will be surprised by Pfälzer body dishes and popular kitchen classics from many Henninger decades. Legendary the Wiener Schnitzel with lukewarm potato salad or calving in Cognacrahm. And certainly only the best products of most regional origin. The design of the hotel area also took place with a lot of touch. I believe that there is a psychology of room design and that rooms do something with us. And I believe that such spaces have been created, which achieve something positive for the people they use, to live and experience. Each room is designed differently. Tradition with a lot of construction history unites itself with modernity. The soils with magnificent oak boards are not hidden under clumsy but let breathe. The beds are generous and so cuddly lovingly designed. The generous bathrooms with partly glazed openings between bed and tub open to all kinds of charming thoughts. Oh, yeah... you just have to love it... the Henninger and his team."

"I am not a pingelier visitor and certainly not sensitive, but that was one of the worst restaurant visits I have ever experienced. even if only of very short duration. we were on the way to 5 in speyer and 2 of us had the slemmer block. we had previously looked at what there are in speyer on restaurant options and then decided to la luna. that is the 2nd year that we use the block and so far it has always worked completely without any problems - even without a reservation. from the outside, the la luna made a very nice impression, if we were not sure whether it was made, because it is in the backyard and you only see a sushi shop from the front. when we entered the restaurant, the wed has stopped us with a hand held up and waited. We have, of course, also succeeded. Although this was not really full locally, he has pushed us two smaller tables together and left us outside beside the fountain. the terrace is okay, more but not. when the service came, the fun went off, and she handed us the menus. we told her that we had the slemmer block and tilted her mood. in the way they murmured something from 'they had to book with us before', as far as so good. 5 minutes later, he said that we were going to the table: "we don't take a slemmer block. they should have booked with us in advance. we don't take it off." we have also taken this, even though we were unable to understand the argumentation. He wants to be reserved - but not to say that you have the block - and if you come and have the block, it's okay. but not without reservation. he then left us alone to advise us. what we did. However, after 5 minutes he was right back and instead of letting it be good, he had to ride on the thema again. at this time we had decided to stay as a group and simply accept it. Finally we wanted to have a nice evening and it was only about 1 main dish. tja, who would then discuss that he could understand our opinion, but that that would be his, and that he would like to be consciously in his restaurant and not to "cheap". At some point, a discussion was created, because it became increasingly unofficial and had absolutely lost itself in the dead. he was not in a position to conduct a factual discussion and has also addressed us personally. we should've been studying decent, we could understand. he thinks only as a businessman and the slinger block is damaging to him, he only makes losses. that he has been there for 4 years, then had a light thread in taste. this year would be the last and they would stand out. After we were allowed to listen to other unharmed talks and we had no more pleasure to let ourselves be fooled by the side, we finally left. the complete local has got the situation and a table has even explicitly addressed us what would have been going on. in short form, they then got a summary. we have rarely felt uncomfortable in a local. worse still is that one is treated so from above only on the basis of a hammer block. the wet had to miss 150-200 euro this evening - quite contrary to his assumption, he would make losses and we would just eat cheap. it was only about approx. 10 euro, to a main dish. also: all 5 are fully employed and we were all dressed a little better because we knew we wanted to go away together. I can't evaluate it, but we'll never have a look at it again. very sad that you have to behave with your guests, and to judge them, the restaurant does not seem to be so badly visited because of the slinger block. the owner should think about whether it has not caused others. because with this kind he is driving the runnership. the senses of the slemmerblock is to visit new restaurants and to find new favourites. that has been so often gone and we have always been glad that we have been made aware of this locally. otherwise we would never have seen/seeded/tested. in the connection we have landed in the "flaming star" - without a slemmer block. And we had another super evening, which of course had its running gag. at least this had his good one."

"General Actually, we wanted to go to the Hirsch after Dielheim Horrenberg. A call then revealed that the deer remains closed for unforeseen time due to a serious illness of the owner (and cook). The hotel/restaurant is now closed and is for sale. Then the Breivogel arrived in Kallstatt, which we visited several years ago and then somehow became oblivious with us. Due to the beautiful early summer days with beautiful sunshine and approx. 23 degrees we found two cookies on the well visited terrace. In the past, the Breivogel was connected to a wine shop that is probably moved. The former wine tasting rooms now serve as a side room for events. In the meantime, the owner's son, who has been leading the restaurant since the 80s, has come in. If one takes into account the quality, the price of performance is quite correct. The prices for open wines are somewhat high, but with approx. 4.50 for 0.25 l still appropriate. Service Very friendly service that pleasantly surprised us. Despite the very good visit, we were quickly and friendly. The food It is again asparagus time. So we decided to have an asparagus soup we shared. The soup very rarely tasted such a good asparagus soup (with small asparagus pieces and croutons). As a main dish there was a portion of asparagus with sauce Hollandaise and new potatoes, with a butter-sweet veal carving, which also tasted as it looked great! I chose the calf medallions with Morchel cream sauce and homemade late zle. That was the best thing I have eaten in the last few months, the cream sauce with plentiful Morcheln excellent! The portions were quite neat for Wenigesser gives most dishes also in smaller version. Anyway, we're glad to rediscover the Breivogel. Actually, I don't get to sleep as fast as I can, but there's an exception here. The ambience The restaurant (on the 1st OG main restaurant, on the ground floor Winzerstube and ancillary rooms) still makes the same cozy and well maintained impression as years ago. The large terrace is appropriately equipped. A refurbishment with more comfortable garden furniture would certainly improve the overall impression. Update: In the meantime, redesign and refurbishment took place. It has become even more comfortable outside. Cleanliness Regarding cleanliness gave no complaints."
