"Lovely pub, in an old building, lots of history on the walls! My friends, partner and I were on a road trip home. We were getting hungrier by the mile and then we all saw this place and shouted “PUB LUNCH” in the car. We were greeted by two very lovely ladies, and they did their best throughout our short visit. The pub was quiet, even with some people playing pool and others having a laugh with friends over a drink. All five of us ordered food and it came very quickly. My partner and myself, had burgers which were delicious and very filling!! A friend of ours had steak and LOVED it. Another had the gammon, which I tasted and we both found fantastic! Our other friend had a steak and ale pie and she demolished the LOT! If we were more local, we’d be back, and often. But, until our next road trip that way! Thanks Queensway! (Sidenote- try their salt and pepper fries! Vegetarian options: Plenty of Veggie options on the menu! (We didn’t try any, but they’re there!
