"We had mixed feelings about the place. We love the location with a lovely sea view its where il mulino di scopello used to be, a restaurant we loved. The place has a lovely lounge area, where we had wonderful coctails created by one of the owners with flowers and many local ingredients. So far so good. Unfortunately we were less excited about the food. The concept is to use local ingredients with traditional recipes the result is a rather heavy seafound menu that was a bit too heavy for us. We had the house starters, and were already fully satieted after it the gamberi rossi were of great quality, but there was too much bread crums and fry on the stuff. We then had the tagliolini a la cialoma, with black ink, sea urchins and red shrimp, all very good but again a touch too heavy. So if you like more traditional food tgat makes you leave full, this is a great place. If you look for a more modern and lighter food that tickles your senses, I would consider going to egesta mare in Castellammare instead. But service and atmosphere were excellent."
