"While we made a day trip to Scarperia, we came across il rustico. something that is very charming that we choose this place to lunch. the manager, a very nice man. he assured us that they have various good options for vegetarians. we felt when the man went out of his way to wish our other family members to fulfill, be it that it heated the broth in the basket to give us various flavors like chili oil, crumbled etc. we have a fixed order, they have many options for vegetarian food. each dish was quite huge in the amount, but we've finished everything because it was all amazing in taste. really had a wonderful lunch, it wasn't too expensive."

"Veggies and vegans turn away now! This is a meat eaters heaven! Lovely restaurant that is clearly a favourite of locals, and for obvious reasons, as it is very atmospheric and traditional inside but also has some very friendly service. Being a short distance from Florence, this is clearly somewhere for dates or otherwise for guys to come and eat the famous Florentine steak or at least attempt to, because they are often bigger than your head! We did not attempt the Bistecca Fiorentina as we wanted to have a starter as well, but our steaks were unsurprisingly cooked to perfection and served with some equally delicious chips and side dishes in generous portions. We also had a very good bottle of red wine at a very reasonable price for this part of the world you 'd get a rubbish house wine in the UK for the same price in most places). Only side note I 'd add is that if you 're prone to being bitten/stung by mosquitoes or wasps etc. I 'd ask for a table indoors as while the outdoors area is lovely with great views in daylight), they do have quite a lot of hornets and mosquitoes as you 're in the countryside here! 100 Euros for both of us including the excellent wine, steaks and service seemed like very reasonable value and therefore this is a highly recommended place to eat."

"Amo girare e viaggiare e scoprire questi posti, adoro i piatti tipici. Venire qui è un po' come ritrovare dei sapori persi nel tempo. Ottima la scelta di cucinare questi piatti ormai in disuso. E la qualità del cibo è veramente eccellente Consigliato da provare, potreste rimanere piacevolmente sorpresi. Staff familiare molto cordiale e accogliente. La ragazza è stata disponibile e ci ha seguito in modo professionale oltre a farti sentire al tuo agio."
