"So let’s start with the positives. The wine was excellent, and the only good thing about here was leaving. The service was slow, very slow. After ordering it was an hour to get the starters which were not complex. The prawns were over cooked, the ham and potato croquettes were, well baby food in breadcrumbs. Before we finished the starters the mains arrived. We were lucky to get them so quick, others were waiting an hour in between courses. However the food was bad, the worst place we have ever been. The chicken was the size of a small bird, the skin was not crisp, and i5 had little meat on it. The pork tenderloin was dry, and both lacked any flavour. You get a choice of one side with the meat, chips, potato, rice, salad or veg. Any more than one costs extra. The fries were dry and hard. Staff never attended you to see if everything was ok, probably as they know the answer. The quickest part of the service was bringing the bill followed within minutes of someone coming to the table to collect payment. Absolutely disappointed in this place. It is overpriced for what they deliver. Don’t be fooled that it looks busy so must be good. They fill the place up and as you are waiting for so long it makes it seem busy."
