"I approached the host booth and asked if they book and was told that it was not just too foot in (especially the whole salcombe has this policy). no problem, we were owed a few days later in the city and planned an early dinner and with two children in the tow, which would probably work pretty well. 3 days later, and around 17.30 clock I went back to the host table to ask if they had a table for 6 adults and 2 children. After she was ignored by the host who was determined not to get in touch with me, she finally believed she had to do something about my presence. When I asked about a table, I was advised that they were fully booked, I replied that I said it was only 3 days before. are they serious? so short, they don't take bookings, but they actually do. in the did the whole salcombe take bookings but I think they need to be in the know or a local / regular when we went away to eat somewhere else, they were all fully booked, despite going into only politics. do it well! will not return to salcombe!"
