"Lion Inn provides an oasis in a beautiful setting. Surprisingly good food with lovely 360 degree views from their courtyards picnic tables. Of course inside is a classic English country pub. We stopped here on our Coast to Coast walk. We ordered sandwiches and Indian food and a baked Brie. All of which we served quickly and exceeded expectations. We followed this with ice cream with berries and a wonderful cake and custard dessert."
