"Had a nice meal for lunch here. Introduced to this place by my friends. The idea of the buffet and paying one price for all you can eat seems like a relatively new concept in Germany, unlike what we have back at home. You can go wrong in a hurry at buffets, and they have all sorts of problems with quality control, food bourne illnesses, and overall cleanliness.The Gourmet Temple handles everything well, and the entire restaurant, dining area, and restrooms are beyond clean. It's beautiful inside, a perfect setting for a relaxed lunch or dinner. Service is also top notch, with very sweet and kind staff that speak very good German.The food is also above par. While it's still a ways off from anything authentic, there's something uniquely satisfying about "White Guy" Chinese food! They have a variety of fresh veggies, salads, frued goodness, and mixed rice and noodle dishes with pork and beef. Not much in the way for vegetarians like myself, but in Germany that's the norm.The Temple also does a decent turn on making sushi rolls, and they have a pretty elegant desert bar with fresh fruit and rarities like lychee. There's also a white and dark chocolate fountain if you need it....amazing!Overall, great place to stop and fill up if your an hour or so West of Hannover, especially if on a long drive. Not the best quality, but pretty darned good and a step above a lot of things. It's a little weird being in a plaza next to a car dealership, but hey, it works. Check it out!"
