"We stopped for some food at this pub due to being in the area for the Leonardlees light show (which I also highly recommend) and the pub was an absolute gem of a find! Even if the food hadn't been as good as it was, I would still give 5 stars anyway for the exemplary customer service by the young gentleman serving us, he is a massive credit to employers and really made us feel welcome. The food was great and generously portioned, and we were sat right by the cosy fire. The pub was vegan friendly, family friendly, dog friendly and the food was delicious! A well deserved 5 stars all round, we will definitely return another time."
