"This is our third visit in eight weeks. Lovely venue, lovely food but………they need to address the following: Slow it all down!! You are rushed from start to finish with barely a pause between courses! TRAIN the waiting staff!! Omg they are SO bad! No attention to you and your needs, just rush rush rush! Various drink orders didn’t arrive, mustard didn’t arrive, coffee didn’t arrive, chair leg continually kicked by waiting staff as they RUSHED by!! At one point I had to go onto the kitchen to get my course myself!!!! Third visit but won’t be back!! Shame as raining the staff is such a simple thing to fix. Food lovely."

"Recently visited for the 1st time to celebrate our 14th anniversary together. Everything about our experience was amazing, everyone was kind and attentive, food was absolutely out of this world (my partner especially loved the home made bread) non of that annoying asking how the meal was right in the middle of a mouthful which was great . Well priced , made me a wonderful mocktail .Will definitely visit again. Service: Dine in"

"Today at 5 PM, I stopped by this restaurant on my way home from the Korndorne hiking area. It's easy to find and offers beautiful indoor and outdoor seating with lovely views of the River Avon. The menu features around 8 to 10 main courses, all made from scratch and sounding delicious. We tried the prawn and crab salad, tomato soup with warm bread rolls, fish and chips, and a delightful lamb pie served with chunky chips, peas, and extra gravy. We received a warm welcome from Alison, who was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, the venue, and the local area. Poppy also served us and, although a bit shy, she was very pleasant. Overall, the experience was excellent, and we plan to visit again soon."

"in the pickled plum to the booked lunch, only to discover that they did not allow dogs in the inner. quickly after an alternative location where we rank the star inn. they immediately booked us a table for four adult and a small dog. we came to a great welcome with a bowl of water for the dog already at the table. the staff was very friendly and made a fuss of the dog. the three cursor meal was error-free. excellent food and service. will return definately ."

"Meant to be a xl box and it was tiny And the amount of lamb for a tenner on Chips was a joke ! The brisket if it even was brisket had that much sauce on it it was like drinking a bottle of bbq sauce ! £45 for not even a fivers worth of meat and frozen chips? I also asked for nothing to be spicy on there as I have acid reflux and they sent spicy coleslaw Absolutely gutted Ruined our evening Food: 1"

"My friend and I had a good walk on Bredon Hill and descended down to Elmley for lunch where we found the excellent Queen Elizabeth Inn. The staff were welcoming and friendly and allowed us to bring our dog into the lower bar. There was a jar full of doggy treats and the young lady behind the bar said I could take one for the dog. So I treated Isla with a very generous Bonio biscuit. There was a good selection of ales and we both had Wye Valley bitter which was a tasty and refreshing pint. We then ordered food which was delivered quickly to our table. The food was delicious and very reasonable in price. There was a good selection of lunch meals on the menu, all reasonably priced. The pub has a separate dining room for more haute cuisine dining. There is also a tea room attached to the pub which is run as a separate business. The inside of the pub was warm and traditional. It would be a great place to spend a few hours with friends supping fine ales and sharing stories. I must return to try a pint of the interestingly named guest beer, 'Shagweaver '."

"We had a Sunday lunch recently. However it took 20mins for our starter to arrive from when we ordered and other tables who ordered after us were served before us. When we enquired apparently order had got lost. This hotell still has the reputation of poor service. This is a shame as the staff themselves are friendly and polite, they just need more training. The food was good and it is for this reason we will return."
