Grazie"

"We stayed at the hotel next door to I Tigli and went to I Tigli practically every night for dinner. Not that there wouldn 't have been alternatives around e.g., the restaurant of the hotel, the many restaurants within walking distance incl. many fancy places! , but we just found I Tigli to serve the food we like at prices we like. We are into simple food, fancy food is for special nights and we had some of those as well in the afore mentioned fancy places and I Tigli has the best of simple foods. Their pizzas are delicious, their pre courses delightful and their deserts a glorious finish. My favourite is Pizza speak e Mascarpone, a combination I had never seen before and that quickly won my heart. My wife 's favourite is the calzone. Both of those are simple thin, Italian doug, tomato base, cheese and then special ingredients, Mascarpone and Italian ham in my case, and Ham Cheese for the calzone but soooo delicious!!!! With that I usually had a wine house wine for me, it 's quality Italian wine after all and a still water, and sprite for my wife. They 'd also have all kinds of other drinks, but that 's what we went with. As desert we tried ourselves through the desert menu took us two weeks, but we made it through! , and I can confirm, whatever you pick it 's tasty. My favourite was the torta al nonna served warm!! and my wife liked the slice of ice cream with berries whose exact name now slipped my mind , both amazing choices. We didn 't try their meat dishes, as the pizzas we 're so amazing we kept on ordering them. The price most nights came down to about 50€ incl. drinks, desert, pre course and main for two; some days we only had drinks wine, sprite water and mains which cam down to about 30€. One night we had takeaway yes, they do that, too , which was about 30€, too, as we had 3 mains same spare for the next day . That 's an amazing price and beats everything around it by a margin!! But even if the price had been significantly more expensive, we 'd still kept on coming back, just due to their excellent dishes! We usually tried to get there early ~7pm as by 9pm it usually gets really busy there. In particular on Fridays and weekends there are many functions with locals celebrating birthdays to all kinds of fancy events. So if you 're going there in the weekend or aim for Italian dinner time, I 'd recommend to reserve or try your luck and drop by, the lovely staff always did their best and did manage to squeeze us in the one time we arrived quite late! Speaking of staff, they speak excellent English my Italian is broken as foo, and my wife speaks only English , and I heard them speak German, too I speak German, too, but my wife doesn 't so we 'd always order in English . The staff is most amazing and they have good amount so you 're noticed quickly and the food comes to your table fast. They accept card and cash; you go up to the counter to pay and wait at the entrance to be seated. Saying that, they 'll still be happy if you ignore either and order the bill to your table or just find an empty spot, though adhering to local custom I 'd find more polite. You can sit inside and outside; view outside are amazing!! Overall: Amazing food, good price, best staff, amazing views a place to return to over and over!! 11/10 would recommend!!"
