"I visited the Mariner Inn whilst away for a long weekend. Lovely quaint setting and a lovely pub that is very much quintessentially British. There was a really good range of real ales and IPA's. We sat out for our first drink before we got rather chilly, and the views over to the beach were lovely. We didn't eat there but there were many in there that were eating, and the food looked nice. The only downside was 2 of the 3 staff that served me were not very inviting. Their demure was standoffish and unwilling to engage with any lightheaded chat. The other lady was jolly and engaging. I will visit again but I'll be aware that some of the staff are a little prickly. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
