"my fiancée and I love curry, so where we go, we try the local offer. maharaja palast was very close to our airbnb so we thought we would try. we are there at 8:30 a.m. and it was full so that the man I think the owner said to come back in 30 minutes. the two young who arrived shortly after us decided they could not wait and probably went out to try to find somewhere else to dinner. we were not in the hurry, so went for a walk and found a small caffe near to have a beer. when we came back at 9 o'clock, there were some tables free so we were sitting right away. the menu was in German, but had some English translations below. I had read on tripadvisor that their version is dampened by seasoning for the German palate, so that we ordered the mixed papora to start and when I ordered the green bun I order for extra. the waiter seemed surprised, but still agreed. my fiancée ordered the lamb madras (which had a chili warning next to him already! and the waiter warned him that it was hot. the mixed papora arrived and was a beautiful mix of sweet, windshield and chicken breast in a light teig, but the cook was extremely difficult to handle with the salt and pepper that it is unpleasant to eat. the actual food was cooked and the three dives (mango, green chili and raita were very tasteful. we think, maybe on this teller they just made a mistake in spicing, so not complaining. the main thing came and my green chicken came with a little damped veg upstairs and was on a bed of an orange picked veg that was quite delicious. the two people part of the basmati was fluffy and very beautiful. my other halflamm madras was really tasteful and spicy, but not too hot and the naans were soft and crispy at the right place. you could say the waiters were very busy, but they were all very polite and fast to clear our empty dishes. I would definitely not be put off by our zu-Peppery and zu-Salty-Starter as I think that was probably one out and the main dishes were very nice. I would recommend this restaurant, but think it is important to choose the right elements on the menu as some can be better than others. the green huh, lamb madras and the fluffy basmati rice were our highlights."

"On the weekend I was the first guest in Haru – and felt completely reminiscent of my time in Japan. The restaurant is absolutely the splendor and convinces by freshness of the ingredients (probably in sushi), accommodation, courtesy service (actually an Asian self-evident) and a very pleasant ambience. The building is located near the Westfriedhof and can be reached by line 6. During my visit on Sunday night it was well visited. As the only eater, however, I had never felt like I pushed on a cat table or found too little attention. The serviceman was exceptionally concentrated and light wax. My green tea (3,90) was ordered as a refill, which means that I could drink as much as I wanted. This went out very relaxed because I was poured out inconspicuously as soon as the content of my cup went into the nige. My appreciation before the service: that was quite inconspicuous and as by the way, but very reliable. The map looks like a Japanese cartoonist. Nice and battery, very clear and easy to understand. After a wonderfully spicy Miso soup (3.50 euros) with very dominant algae components, I had fresh Avokoda-Maki (3.70 euros), also Hotate Sushi with a wonderfully spicy, delicate scalop (3.90 euros) and Ika Sushi with very fine Squid (2.40 euros). For me, however, the revelation was annoyed by the smoked tuna tree from black forests ham. Sensational in taste! For green tea I could choose an individual cup myself – everyone was unique. Remembered the famous tea ceremony. The sushi is prepared in the middle of the room by a very young, very concentrated woman. After completion, the parts wander into the kitchen and are served there with the entire order on a plate. Only hot dishes (like Teriyaki) are prepared exclusively in the kitchen. All components are Megafresh and of best quality. Especially with sushi and sashimi, this is an absolute must! If you want to order an additional part of rice for 1.50 Euro at any time. Otherwise, Japanese food is never cheap. For this you feel tired, but wonderfully light and airy. Criminal is not here. Also very pleasant: jazzy lounge music in the background, quite inconspicuous and discreet. The toilets are hidden behind sliding doors as in a traditional ryokan. Unfortunately, it is not quite possible to call the restaurant barrier-free. You can find something in trouble with a wheelchair or a roller shutter. Also in the very pleasant, reduced environment I did not take photos. It would not have been appropriate. Ahja, most dishes are also included in the Takeaway. Those who feed locally should have some time, but this high esteem calls for Asian food anyway!"

"FOOD- 5/5 DRINKS- 5/5 AMBIANCE- 5/5 SEATING COMFORT--5/5 SERVICE-5/5 LOCATION- 5/5 What I loved the most about this place is you enter inside and you feel like you are in an Australian bar and kitchen! You are instantly transported to another continent such is the vibe inside! Relatively it 's a big place. We went here for dinner and people preferred sitting outside. So if you are more of an outdoor seat person you better reserve a place beforehand. Else it 's a pretty big place inside and you 're good to go without reservations. There are some big portraits of famous Australian landscapes along with a TV where Australian beach and surfers are displayed! There are two different types of seats and the sofa seats are way more casual and comfortable than the regular chairs. What I loved was that this place is not easily visible to the first time travellers to Nürnberg and thereby doesn 't come across as touristy!! Coming to the food part, we ordered Outback in Starters. It was primarily kangaroo and it tasted too good. The cocktail Tasmanian Devil was sweet and mild. The Strong Drink Long Island Ice Tea was full of flavours and I would recommend this!! For mains, the Bondi Beach Seafood Pasta which consisted of spaghetti, mussels, tiger prawns, octopus and cherry tomatoes looked deceptively plain but turned out to be delicious!! And the Ostrich Burger which was a new thing for us turned out to be great (I missed to take the photograph but it was a large one). By the time we had all of this, we were so full and no way could we try the desserts!! But definitely going back to this place soon!!"

"We visited this restaurant as it was recommended by our colleagues at work. We called some days before to make a reservation as we already knew that it is sometimes hard to get a table there in the weekend. It is located in a peaceful...neighbourhood in Nuremberg in a residential house. The backyard is actually used in the summer for outdoor seating and dining. As u enter the restaurant the atmosphere is cosy. Candles and dimmed lights set a nice feeling. Luckily we had a greek friend with us who would guide us through the menu. At a first look the menu is not typical with that of other greek restaurants in the city. A variety of small dishes which you can combine and share with your friends as well as a special weekly menu that changes. Our friend explained us that the dishes offered are actually the ones that he also gets at home, so it is more greek than the typical gyros-souvlaki-squid dishes that you you get in other places. We put together a variety of nearly everything to get an overview along with some typical Retsina wine. The service helped us to order the right amount, not too much and not too less. When the food started to come out to our table it looked really tasty and we couldn't wait to taste. The portions look rather small but they are rich in flavour and when combining it is really a lot to digest. My favourites were: Auberginencreme, Patatokeftedes, Hähnchenbrust Mavrodaphne and Squid filled with Feta cheese. All dishes are rich in spices as it is common in the mediterranean cuisine culture. You also get fresh bread for free with all the dishes and you can ask for more. In the end we were all full with food and happy with the wine and the service. The prices are very settle and especially when you share the food and the costs it comes off even more cheap for all. Definetely a nice surprise with this type of greek food and I can recommend this restaurant to all who like greek food and want to dive more into greek delicacies."
