"This was the first English pub my wife and I visited four years ago (in 2015) during a small road trip in England. In March 2019, we had just one day to enjoy something special, so we decided to return to this place. After a flight from Denmark on Friday, we drove the 2.5 hours from Stansted to the pub and then headed home to Denmark on Saturday. You won't find a more welcoming atmosphere or a better host than what this pub offers. This definitely won't be our last visit to the Cross Keys Inn, especially with their excellent food and cask beer."
