"We celebrated our wedding reception in the Pfrondorf Mill's event tent in June and are absolutely thrilled! We never expected this day to be 100% perfect, but it was! A heartfelt thank you to Aylin, who was an integral part of this wonderful experience. From the very beginning, our interaction was incredibly warm and personable. She is open to all ideas and plans, but also communicates clearly (and kindly! when something isn't possible. During the celebration, she took over and coordinated many things in the background that we didn't take for granted, but which kept us free (e.g., providing us with drinks, lighting candles in the evenings, adjusting the volume with the DJ, and much more . The entire mill team was professional and super friendly at all times, which many of our guests noticed very positively. Our guests also really appreciated the quality of the buffet, even those who are usually very critical when it comes to food. We compared and visited several locations beforehand. With Aylin, the whole package was just perfect. The value for money was top-notch for a wedding. The venue is beautifully situated in the countryside right on the Nagold River and has a wonderful atmosphere, especially in good weather (if you're lucky . In the evening/night, we were able to celebrate undisturbed until closing time. Many of our guests stayed with us in the adjacent hotel and had breakfast the next morning. We loved that no outside guests were allowed to stay overnight during the event, so no one could complain about the noise. Dear Aylin, dear Mühlen team, We are incredibly happy and grateful that you made this day so unforgettable for us. The time and money invested in our wedding celebration was more than worth it! We recommend you 1000%. <3 Photos: WEI ART Studio"

"The Provinciale – a pizzeria with an ice kiosk attached to it, which likes to call itself short and short and chic provo is one of the hottest gastronomic places in Nagold. The location is also unbeatable: in the middle of the Markplatz, right next to the photogenic pre-urban fountain (which must always be used as a background for selfies, with numerous tables in the outside area, which are so inviting to the south that even at temperatures in the single-digit area you can be swung to the outside. If you find a free place. And I must confess: in the last 10 years, in which I regularly come to Nagold several times a year, I have not succeeded in this once. Today I am making the acquiring a sport and staying at the well for so long until I can have a free table. Got it! But the disappointment follows immediately. In fact, in the Provinciale there seems to be almost only pizza and pasta and ice cream, the much-globed breakfast variations (partly for 1, partly for 2 people – and a lot of egg dishes in all forms are unfortunately only delivered until 11:30. I feel that every attempt to negotiate is unnecessary. On a Saturday (and at the same time market day the bear steps, the service is more than exhausted and all the guests around me do not seem to be picky. humbly defending my little table and subordinating me to the hectic flow, I courageously order the pizza Sorpresa for 11.50 euros. And after just a quarter of an hour, the surprise is already on my table. It is quite bright and pale, with plenty of cheese and some ingredients that would not be suspected otherwise on a pizza, such as Broccoli (what is this???). Reflex-like, I'm thinking about heartburn. At the tables around me, however, one seems to be very satisfied. I will also be able to drink some salad plates (but their face is mostly in dressing and lush ice cups are beautiful. Am I unhappy? No, a narrow, somewhat zittriger senior two tables continues to wait bravely felt 40 minutes on his Rigatoni al forno and looks disappointed all the courts passing over. So it doesn't seem to always go fast... While complaints about the unfriendly operation have always been loud again and again in the past, the service ladies are now just too sugary and very fond of and tiring like the birds. In addition, they act flink, reliable and almost error-free. My respect! A glamour in the immense guest appearance, the bright sun and an all-watching boss in the background. It has also been criticized in the past that guests who only wanted to drink were driven out in vain. This also seems to have changed. Some guests seem to actually order only a coffee or a prosecco after Saturday shopping. If you can’t fight a seat in the sun, you’ll get inside – where it looks cozy, bright and friendly. The (some tight toilets are two levels above the guest room and are therefore unfortunately not accessible. All in all, I got tired, but I can't fully understand the hype around this location. Gourmet restaurants look different (you can only experience them a few steps on request – with high-quality food, well maintained service and fine ambience. Also, the offer seems to be mainstream and family-friendly, so that from the toddler to the senior everyone can find something. But I have a one-time visit, especially since pizza and pasta do not belong to my favorites. Achja, a plus point can still be mentioned: the central bus station is just 200 meters away, the picturesque Waldach and the former garden scenery only a little further. If you want, you can also take a digestive walk."

"Who walks through the city centre of Nagold is guaranteed to come past this much more beautiful and photographed jewel. The impressive, impressively renovated “Old Post” factory building is located directly on the marketplace and can look back on a long history. Built in 1697 as an inn, a postal station on the route Stuttgart-Freudenstadt resided here from 1807. Nowadays you can park your car in one of the inner-city car parks, with the so-called cultural railway (which runs between Pforzheim and Horb one of the local stops or arrive by bus. The central bus station is just a few steps away. In its alternating history, the inn has also experienced several changes in the restaurant this century: change of owners and tenants, renovations, renovations and modernizations. Despite several approaches, I have never managed to return here in the past decade, although the place was far above my gastronomic priority list. Under the current Aegean, the place is likely to stand since 2019. And then you'll soon be using unholy times. It's nice that a meeting of former colleagues leads me to this wonderful restaurant. In the weekend you can also enjoy a continuous opening without a break in the afternoon. Kutscherstuben are on the ground floor, even if an old Wirtshausschild announces: “Restaurant 1st floor”. When you enter, you will be welcomed very kindly (from the patron? , almost friendly, so that the short view of the vaccination certificate is almost casual. On Saturday afternoon shortly after 12 a.m. you have free space in the Kutscherstuben. In this main guest room there are eight tables of different sizes – from the clean two table to the long table for large families and friends. The interior designer has succeeded in a harmonious melange of old and high-quality, modern elements: above a rustic wooden floor you will find gentle oak optics, gray curtains, modern lights and timeless classic seating furniture, which surely originate from the local furniture manufacturer Rolf Benz. The attentive, caring service lady with the menus at the table appears very quickly. If you were able to marvel at the top three wine hall at the entrance area and now the wine map will be taken into consideration, you will be most regrettable to register the fact of not traveling with the postal carriage. I discover several favorites: a Barbera d ́Alba from Piedmont (31,50 Euro for bottle , a bad Spätburgunder by Martin Waßmer (38,50 Euro , a Carnuntum Zweigelt (24,50 Euro). For dinner, I choose the beetles with supplement salad for 11.50 euros. Colleagues take large salads with roasted muzzles (11.50 Euros or an impressively lush swabbell with pork medallions, muzzles and late zle (19.50 Euros). In the kitchen you seem to act fixed and concentrated, because the finished dishes land very quickly at the table. And taste excellent. My filigree side salad is crunchy over a bed of almost perfect potato salad and fine carrots. The beetles pull powerful threads and taste very much thanks to mountain cheese and much spicy onions. The portion is almost impossible to wupp. Also the deftly roasted muzzles and the picture-book-ready generous swab pens seem to mouth. To the left I catch a quick look at a wonderful dessert, could have been the ice chocolate with Baileys and cream (5.80 euros). The lady is definitely more than delightful. At the final passage to the toilet (very well maintained! I still discover a quiet, currently unused space with very beautiful, artistically designed milk glass panes. The front room with bar and small side table also looks very inviting. All in all, the visit is perfect: central location, well maintained ambience, courtesy and extremely friendly service, moderate prices and tasty Swabian dishes of best quality. You would prefer to place your head on a (unfortunately available guest bed). The next time, I'll definitely come with the postal carriage. Or at least with the cultural path."
